yeah fusion rifles were alright and pretty easy to use ...I will use them more when I can get a full auto one..

Yes their are my good man, check destinynews.net/exotics-in-beta the pocket infinity is full auto and some other exotic fusion rifles are to.

but those are exotics. the VAST majority that people will be running around with will be the charge and burst kind. its nice if you get a full auto fusion rifle, but don't plan on it.

You'll see auto fusion rifles are going to dominate the crucible...just a matter of time:)

for the highly competitive, end game matches yes. unless you can buy a full auto one from the exotic vendor, then you are relying on a random drop. if that's the case, then not everyone will have that available.
