Me and my friends don't plan on having a life outside of destiny come September. We won't have any problems finding people to raid with. But sure, add matchmaking. Why the hell not? Won't affect me or my friends at all. At least give the lonely people a chance to play raids.

It will affect community way more than you can imagine. I bet you expect to have a slight chance of win in MM. Well that chance is 0 and will bring hate for unexped players. Plus 85% of community don't know what a raid is and if have the choice to get MM won't even bother with a static making impossible for himself to beat the raid. Community need to be guided in how to tackle this challenge that is completely new for FPS players. That's why MM aviable would be disastrous for both community and game
