How come halo 5 is 60 fps and destiny is 30
Ok so u just saw a video an it said that halo 5 guardians will be 60 fps and destiny is 30 like wtf bungie cmon

Because Bungie was targeting 1080p and 30fps on all consoles. It was a decision not a lack of technical prowess. Just like 343 [i]decided[/i] to move Halo into the 60fps club. It's all about design choices, my friend.

Seriously? Is it that hard to realize Halo 5 is developed solely for 1 console. Destiny is made for 4 consoles. It has to have parity amongst each version where Halo does not.. This is day 1 shit people, are you not thinking or what?

2 RepliesMy guess would be because it is easier to optimise for a platform when it's the only hardware you're having to work with. Plus, if MS are really pinning their hopes on cloud computing, hardware tiled resources, etc, 343i are likely to have been working with it all for longer than anyone else. MS needs Halo 5 to be its big hardware showcase game after all.

18 RepliesBecause technicaly it is a shared world game so everything has to be loaded and there is alot of everchanging things so alot is going on in destiny. So if they went sixty frames per second it would be troublesome for the servers

Because Halo 5 is next gen only, and it's built to make full use of the xbox 1. All next gen exclusives are going to max out the power of their system, that's the best part of exclusives.
