I don't see why it is an issue.................if someone wants to spend hours going from chest to chest to get money let them. I would rather be exploring and killing enemies than looping from chest to chest. So what if they have money to buy a chance at getting better armor or weapons.............they just spent hours collecting cash in one of the most boring ways I could think of.

  • If bungie didn't plan it as actual way to grind money and/or it resulted too convenient it will be nerfed. And compared to how is slow to get normally money in game I'm pretty sure that those abuse where the reason of the beta char wipe and this will be prevented

This is a stupid motivation. Idiotic I'd say. When you use that you are already wrong Even the request is idiotic

  • It doesn't bother me a whole lot, but I think it should be fixed.

  • I have an idea that 80% or more of the people who will do "farm" for glimmer will never step into PvP..................so they are just earning money to go out into the world and enjoy themselves. They are playing how they want to play and not hurting anyone.

  • I don't think that is the case. They are trying to get the glimmer in a way that is faster than PvP or normal PvE. Their motivations for this could range, but I'd say they are trying to buy better ships or upgrade their cryptarch skill. In game, it may be used to get legendary equipment.

  • Unless they somehow get a mega one shot kill super gun or a mega sparrow capable of destroying every enemy on the planet with one single shot.......................how does that effect other players? That is no different than the people who will spend their entire time "farming" Raids, Strikes and other special events.................. Will they also need to stop spawning enemies in after a certain amount of time so people don't sit and kill them over an over to get ammo, glimmer and engrams? My other strike team member and I sat in one area and killed the enemy as they spawned for over an hour while we waited for our friend to get online so we could go do the Strike................and I had to get rid of my inventory full of engrams that got dropped over that time by the enemy.

  • My problem isn't with the idea of going around to the loot chests it is how easy and excessive the money made is.

  • No matter what is done someone will complain. If they tone down the frequency of the respawns or lower the amount of items/cash in the chests people will complain that it takes too long to actually get enough money to buy anything. People will always find a way to get what they want/need in a game. If the chests start dropping super powered items all the time then there is an issue with the quantity and frequency. I am of the opinion if people want to spend all the time and boring effort to make the cash to buy the engrams for a chance to possibly get a piece of armor or gun they really want let them have at it.

  • The money taking a long time to buy things can be a good thing. But as I said, this is just an opinion/suggestion of mine, not a petition to Bungie. It would be better to have it hard to buy good things like in Oblivion than have it too easy to buy good things like in Skyrim.
