the graphics and frame rate will only be affecting the people using it. Your game will still be pretty.

Edited by VIK_DOOM: 8/9/2014 6:10:55 PMI doubt they would create 2 performance settings, one for solo players and one for split screen players, if anything they'd tone down the graphics for everyone to keep it on the level. Especially so close to the Release date. IF Destiny 2 is Next-gen only, then maybe we could see the option in the next game but I seriously doubt last-gen consoles would be able to run 2 instances of Destiny at the same time.

Halo:Reach did fine, and every time you used SS, the quality of the graphics and the viewable distance decreased.

Edited by VIK_DOOM: 8/9/2014 6:29:40 PMI see but I can't imagine Reach's maps being as huge as Destiny's Exploration areas, or if they are, surely there is loading screens to split the sections. Also, the main reason why I don't want to see Split screen is because of the Crucible, in Black Ops and Black Ops 2, split-screeners were some of the most annoying players, they had 2 point of views of the map at all times and could coordinate their actions even better than 2 friends playing together with headsets. If they only allow Split-Screen for the main game and it doesn't tone the general graphics down then I have no problem with it, in fact it would remove the need for a second PS4 to play Destiny with my GF.

LOL the only thing i wanted SS for was the crucible. having to pass the sticks between the wife and friends(both are bad) really did a number on my K/D. Not that that actually matters, but I did like seeing it above 2. It didn't really seem to me that the areas to explore were all that large. they just had a very novel way of loading you into each area seamlessly. I will have fun with this game regardless if there is splitscreen or not. PS4 SANDORxCLEGAN See you starside.
