The OP makes good points. But let us also look at it for what it is. A game! It is not life or a job (for most of us.) It is something that is ment to entertain people. And having things not accessible because people don't have the time they would like to dedicate to a game because of things like a job. I will use mine for example. I am a machinist, I put in 60+ hours at work a week. I don't have a choice in how many hours I get as it all depends on what the military needs and what the oil & gas and transportation industries need. Now that understand what my job is lets talk about what goes on at home. I am 28 years old married, no children(not any more long story). Now that have a good rough picture of my life it will surprise you to know that I put in up to 3 hours a night Mon-Fri and 12+ hours on Saturday and Sunday it depends if I have to go to work and how long I am there. However to get this kind of play time I am only sleeping 3 to 4 hours a day. This lack of sleep came as a result of mmos and the hardcore/elitist asshats (as I call them). I wanted to get into the raids and instances of the various MMOs I have played. In Aion I became one of the strongest assassin in of the NA servers took 2nd in the assassin 1v1 tournament. Got my dps so high no tank was able to hold hate off me unless I let them. Carried whole parties through instances because I could. Yet nobody would take in on an endgame raid because I didn't have the time to dedicate to preparing for hours just to attempt a raid. This is the exact reason I quit WoW, Aion, FFXI just to name a few.

  • I would like to point out that you not having enough time to play the game is not something Bungie needs to cater to. Since it is your spare time you will be putting in to the game. If you don't have the time you can't do the content. Same as anything else in life. I can't go on a 5 week holiday during the year. Why? I can only book 4 weeks off, is it the travel company's fault for offering the choice to have a 5 week holiday?

  • Except the difference here is that with a traveling company you don't pay for that 5week holiday unless you can take it. I already payed for the full Destiny game. thus I should get the full experience. Just saying that is a bad comparison.

  • You get the full experience if you are willing to take it. All of the content you are paying for is shipped with the game you just need to spend the time to do it. I concede your point that it was a bad example. Better example, would be buying any other game. The last mission on said game takes 4 hours to complete, there are no checkpoints. You don't get to finish the mission so you then call for it to removed or some of it to be removed allowing more casual-timed players to complete it. This simply results in those that do have the time having less to do and therefore not receiving the same value as they should have in the 1st place. Why remove content for the more dedicated gamers (or gamers with more time however you wish to put it) whilst the rest of the game is still fully accessible? If you get to end game, have appropriate gear and are in a position to raid. Pick a day on a weekend and choose to do a raid on that day. Just the odd 1 off, not every day week in week out. This way you will get to experience the content and maybe even finish it given some practise.

  • How is adding a simple feature to reduce the the time to find a group for something removing anything? If a raid takes 4 hours to complete then I will set 4 hours a side to run it. However I will not spend 6 hours just trying to build the group so I can then run the 4 hour raid. See how the 4 hours just became 10 hours and 6 hours want even in the raid. That is what im asking for a feature in the game to make building the group less time consuming by allowing us to see who wants to run that raid and what groups need people for that raid. While not having a auto join. For example if you have a group with members nobody has someone online. With such a feature ingame I can contact you express my interest via applying or profile messaging you. You would then be able to look at my stats and gear and be able to make a decision if I am up to your standard. At the same time if I have no group and 5 others also have no group I can invite them to my group all within game. Also why does everyone assume MM/LFG windows have to be insta-que.. all it reall is (originally and even original wow had it) was a window that you registered youself or group that you were looking to do something so others looking to do the same could find yo and you them.

The have already this Feature in the game. Go to menu, press L1, see all your friends online, infite them in your fireteam. If they are in destiny at that mement, you can enter a extra message, like "Wanna Raid?". Wait 5 minutes and your Team is full. I've done that many times in the beta. Works perfect. You also see clan mates on your online list and not only PSN friends. edit: Correct spelling

  • 6 hours to make a group? log on to the forum or just make friends in the game, I have a friends list of 40. All from the beta with about 5-6 RL friends on my PS4. Talk to people when you play, invite to fire teams and you will have a large enough group to hop into a raid at short notice. Being social in a multiplayer game pays off
