Raids, Don't Give In Bungie!

So I've been reading a whole lot of articles about why not having matchmaking for raids is a bad thing and I just can't agree, here's why. Bungie has stated they don't want this to be content people can just throw themselves at over and over again until some form of success slowly begins to occur (put that in my own words though, not Bungies). They want this to be content that takes effort to organize, if you can organize a team of people to play at the same time you gain a CHANCE at having the organization it'll take to beat this content. This content is not for every player, I'm sorry everyone feels entitled to ever bit of content that comes with a game but that's not how it works in reality, sorry. Yes you paid for the game, and they are giving you access to the content, the same level of access they are giving EVERYONE else. Whether or not you as a player have the time or patience to access that content the way they set it up is on you. If everyone where able to access this content whenever they want the next series of complaints you'd hear flooding from everywhere is likely how the content is too hard, and how can they expect a group of 6 strangers to work together at such a high level of play and beat this content. Also, Bungie has provided us tools to group together and find players for this content. If you plan to raid then you clearly have an internet connection, hell it's required for the game last I checked. So don't tell me you can't hop on the internet for a few minutes and post on the forums, join a group / clan or something to find the players you need to access this content. Don't be lazy and expect the world to be given to you, if Bungie adopted this lazy attitude of self entitlement they wouldn't be making the great games they do, and they'd be giving us trash like many other developers do, but they aren't. So you can't be either, and if you are, you don't deserve to access the content, it's not meant for you, no matter how that makes you feel on the inside, it's true, deal with it. That is all. Thanks for the great game Bungie, I really hope you don't back down to all the heat your getting about this. Just think how much heat the Demon's Souls / Dark Souls series got for being so hard and now it's a cult classic. You already have the fan base, the people complaining over this will still buy the game, and they aren't the people that'll be around months, years from now anyways, so don't make the game about them. Do what you knows best, I'm sure you will.
ive said this over and over, who says its ALWAYS going to be 6 strangers? What if you have 5 people and just need 1 more. In a game where communication is horrible (so far), its pretty stupid to have to come to a forum while im in game and see if people want to raid. Or to randomly invite people to my friends list who i see dancing in the tower, wait for a response, then ask if they want to raid. I dont want to sit there for 30 minutes looking for 1 or 2 people. MM would solve that issue. If you are worried about them crying about how hard the content it, they could easily warn the player with big scary fonts at how hard the content is. Or have MM only available if you meet a Light requirement. Or even have it only available in hard mode if you have already beaten normal mode. Like you, i have seen many threads about this. And the people against MM always try to use fancy metaphors and verbal jiu jitsu to hide the actual reason you dont want MM. And thats because you dont want a pug to get carried in a raid and have him get the fancy gun it took you and your friends hours and hours of attempts to get. Thats the REAL reason you guys dont want MM. At the end of the day, this is a game. And i would like to spend my time actually playing it, not spending time trying to find someone to raid with.
-shoemaker55
