You know what keep your raids. What randoms matchmakers really want is a survival mode. A Horde mode. A timed survival mode that has the same end gear armor like a Raid. Just place it behind and endless wave of ever growing powerful enemies and a third hour bench mark to get to and random matchmaking would be pretty happy and challenging.

  • Save that it's just a lazy way to make a challenge not to mention easily beatable by good players and unfairly unreachable for new ones. This is the worst they could do to make a challenge. Raids will have mechanics you need to learn, it's not impossible but need lot of training. What training do you need for stupid wave survival? I hope bungie is way more capable of this shitty solution

Lol. Raids need to be hard so only Elites can play it. No casuals. No matchmaking. Here's a matchmaking solution that's not a Raid. You: It's too hard, only elites can get that high and no casuals can. I hope they don't do it. Please surprise me by being bitter and hateful on your next response. I'll be shocked.

  • Your definition of elitist is wrong placed. If you make a stupidly high hp/high dmg mission you make that mission elitary. Raids have mechanics ppl need to know and learn with training. It's the content meant to keep PvE players interested months. It's not a "you are new to shooters? Never come near raids", it's a "you need to train to do raids". You can't train in MM where ppl will not have a clue of what to do and make you die even if you play it fine. So it's 100% impossible in MM but it's not elitist, you are just lazy

  • Not YOU lazy, the developer choose the lazy way to make it challenging

;) What i meant is that it's easy to throw more and biggher enemies at player and i'm sick of just that. It's hard to create a fight with mechanics you have to learn or the group dies First type of challenge is 80% single player skill. You make a fight challenging for top players and newbie like me won't make it until they become skilled at fps Fight with game mechanics are 60% know that fight. It means that it's challenging for pro players and i can train that fight and defeate it even if i didn't became a pro It's actwally far less elitiest content just time-sinker and when you beat it it's a huge feeling of accomplishment

  • You don't have to elite for raids. You just have to want to do them. Sure it isn't for the feller who plays once a week for an hour, but you also don't have to dedicate your life to the game either.

  • That's not a bad idea. Horde/Survival mode would be appealing, in the same way zombies is with COD...
