Should the beta progress carry over to the full game?
In my opnion they should not carry the beta progress over because in the beta leveling speed was greatly increased im not sure by how much but im asuming by alot because if it wasent a considerable amount why would they do it. Also if the max level is 20 then were almost half way done leveling our character... id like to hear the other sides argument but if ur argument is im stupid or u want to keep ur sweet level 8 gear dont wast ur time. Thank You

You can actually get past lvl 20 it just requires a different type of exp than normal

I don't really care either way just want me crypt arch rank, vanguard rank etc and all the special currencies to carry over such as the strange coins

2 RepliesI feel like it wouldn't work if they carried the campaign over, but it would be awesome if we could just keep our stats to use in multiplayer and such... If that makes sense...

Nah, no advantages, takes a couple hours to get to 8. Let them tweak aspects of the game.

I don't think beta progress should carry over. I feel like they still might do some class rebalancing.

I would be ok if we started over but if we could keep our gear till we leveled up to get that gear and equip it I would be pretty happy

1 ReplyI think a slower leveling n all final changes by bungie, will make the character rebuilding better to really get into the game. Plus it will make the game longer (aka more playing)...I got about the same stuff in alpha n beta so i likely get them again.

I'd say no because those who played the alpha had a slight advantage to playing the beta because many were able to start playing at midnight if I'm correct and so had possible better weapons and armor when than the rest of us were able to download the beta. It would be cool to keep our gear though.

3 RepliesI vote yes for carry over. My reason is that not all of us have a lot of time to spend playing games. It's really simple if you don't want the level and everything that you had for the character that you created, just create the character over it's not like they made it that hard to copy your character. At least this way you have the option of keeping the data or throwing it away.

I'm fine with everyone starting fresh, I don't plan on buying anything or "farming" strike missions for gear until I hit level 20, and at that point EVERYTHING we get will be far superior to anything found/teased in the beta

1 ReplyThe only part of the Beta I really, Really, REALLY want to transfer to the final game is my Grimoire cards/score. Anything else would be a bonus.

I'd be fine if nothing did carry over. I'm actually hoping nothing does. Anything I got in the beta I can get again. I'd rather have a fresh start. A little hard work never hurt anyone.

Yea I dnt need my level stuff up but I want all that equipment I won or found to stay maybe even half of my rep. with the vendors at the tower could transfer to ... Or let us choose from a list of things that we can transfer to the full game

Well Yes because this game is fun and I couldn't get enough of it but no because I think people would get tired of the game before it releases.
