Coop (or campaign multiplayer) takes a much larger load on your PS4 or Xbox One than any other game you could play on your gaming system. The more stress you put on your gaming system, the shorter life span it has and less functional it becomes. In order to prevent your PS4 or Xbox from slowing down permanently, coop mode should be removed from Destiny. This should help increase the quality of other multiplayer modes meaning that everyone benefits with faster connection speeds and better graphical quality multiplayer games. It's similar as to the reason why split screen is no longer in Destiny. It helps improve the quality of the game. You can still play with your friends, but you also get to enjoy campaign, and everything runs much faster and much smoother.
Do you think it would be a good idea or are you willing to allow your gaming system to slow down and be damaged permanently, decreasing the quality of the rest of your Destiny experience?

LOL if it breaks. That means I'll just buy another console. If my warranty is out.

11 RepliesSorry to deflate your argument. The old vacuum tubes could be stressed with buildup of deposits on their cathodes, but semiconductors and integrated circuits don't have that problem. There is no damage being done to your system even though that system may be becoming outdated with speed problems associated with program requirements and system capabilities. That is not an issue in this case. Bungie is doing a fine job of program design.

No, what are you saying. The amount of strain the software has on the system won't damage it. Unless you keep in on 24/7 using almost 100% of the CPU and GPU it won't be in trouble. Even keeping the game on itself won't cause much harm unless it's on 24/7 for years. Optimization is already programmed into the code. Unless you do stupid shit like Blizzard and accidentally forget to cap the FPS you won't have much issues. As for split screen, Bungie specifically stated they didn't use split screen because they didn't want to limit the possible "teammates" you could have. Ever Guardian is supposed to be solo and you shouldn't, as a guardian, ever be restricted to where the other person wants to go. This is why despite fireteams you can do what you want. But when in splitscreen not only does it take you out of the experience but you will be restricted to each other (like in halo when you go to far away from the player you teleport to them). It has nothing to do with the load...

6 RepliesAre you inbred? You obviously know nothing about gaming hardware. It might slow down your internet connection speed but it will effect nothing permenantly.

3 RepliesXbox One and PS4 have no problems handling 1080P and 30fps with 6v6 pvp and up to 12 people instanced and in tower if anything were pushing the last gen to its limits with this game but for XB1/PS4 this game is a light lunch

7 RepliesWhy don't we just ditch last gen and xbone. Focus on ps4 and an eventual PC build
