There is also 2 Medals in the Crucible that involves reviving allies and the only class capable of any kind of resurrection in the crucible that we know of is Sunsinger
Medic! - Quickly revive two downed Allies
Angel of Light - In a single life, revive 5 downed allies
There is also another Medal I noticed.
Scorched Earth - Kill 3 Enemies with grenades while Radiance is active

And it is also likely that reviving teammates is only possible in certain gametypes. As of now we have only see one gametype in the crucible. Its safe to assume there will also be a CTF and slayer/deathmatch type gamemode, leaving at least 3 other gamemodes to speculate on; one of which probably requires a lot of team effort and has long respawns, meaning reviving allies wherever possible could be an integral part of the gamemode. The control gamemode of the beta had instant respawn, which makes being able to revive teammates rather redundant. As for the last medal, 3 kills wth grenades may make it safe to assume that the cooldown bonus of radiance will allow for signifigant grenade recharge. either that, or the grenades will be very overcharged.

Yeh with reduced cool down and possibility of increased damage and also the ability to have 2 grenades or make grenades do extra burning over time damage I'm sure they could be deadly when combined with radiance

If all under ability medals then this gives light to the true power of radiance. I guess we can't be sure yet, but it certainly makes it seem like radiance can revive others. Nice find.

In the new Destiny Multiplayer trailer release today a few of the games types like Skirmish and Salvage say Revive Teammates in the info given of the game type so looks like my assumption was wrong, its looking less likely that the revive medals are related to the Radiance super but I still find it odd they were grouped with the other super related medals.

Noticed that as well. Also noticed that there was not a single sunsinger shown in the entire video, even though every other subclass was shown (except defender. i don't think that was there either). We are still left widely in the dark, i guess. ah well, it was a good assumption. I will leave it in my post for now as speculation.

Edited by The_Propagation: 8/12/2014 9:55:26 PMI think at 1:25 we see a Sunsinger he floats in place while aiming a rocket launcher with a red aura around him, which could be "Angel of Light" but I've not looked into the video too much yet. EDIT : Also at just around 0:29 - 0:30 for a split second you will need to pause its just after the skirmish symbol disappears and footage starts again I see a warlock use Radiance. after use he seems to have small flame like wings coming from his back. and it says rook_bng self resurrected. Now the wings might be exclusive to the Fireborn Radiance upgrade as the symbol for the upgrade is a phoenix of some sort (well its a 2 headed bird by the looks of it but could explain the wings since he does after all self res ) Added quick screenshot of the video.

Certainly does appear to be that way. I don't think he's in radiance, as he doesn't have the golden glow we've seen in the past. However, he clearly does stay in midair for about a second, and then drops down. So perhaps angel of light will put an aura around you when you use it?

Yeh it looks that way, like a warlock floating in place with rocket launcher need a bigger target painted on him. But the more I see those flame wings the more impressed I am. So much more Frabjous than a hunter cloak :D

Those wings of light alone would be enough to shame the entire hunter population. That reason alone might finally seal in my decision to use the ability. just to look so glorious.
