I am terrible with the fusion rifle in both PvP and PvE, but I have clan members that are awesome with it in any scenario. Definitely a play style thing. As much as i'd perfer submachine guns, they seem like they'd be irrelivant. The auto rifle handles the full auto side of things, and I feel that people would complain that the smg is under powered. Meaning we would either have a weapon stepping on the ARs toes, or a weapon that the community just didn't like. Take the hand cannon. Regardless of peoples feelings on it, it is a pistol. Some people enjoy it, which is fine, but i've seen many complaints about it, which doesn't make sense because as I said, its a pistol.

Fusion rifles are fantastic against groups of enemies or single high-strength enemies. Maybe give them another chance when the game releases?

Dude the fusion rifle kicks all ass if your accurate... I have done more damage on the devil walker with the fusion rifle than the sniper...
