Any gaming companies that have never let you down with purchased games?
I was curious if anybody else could list a company they felt had always put out enjoyable games? While some of these studios might have put out stinkers, I mean out of the games you have purchased from them.
I've been burnt over the years but I still have a few.
-Bungie
-Treyarch
-Bethesda
-Rockstar
BUNGIE
Never played any Bungie developed games before Halo. Halo 1,2,3 are easily some of my top games of all time. Reach wasn't as great but not a let down overall. Never played ODST.
TREYARCH
Only ever play Zombies and that alone imo is worth every penny each time.
BETHESDA
Elder Scrolls and Fallout are top tier games. I am also a car guy and liked their drag racing games.
ROCKSTAR
Always liked the GTA games. You would think a person would get sick of it eventually but it never happens.

I would say Rockstar but they broke my trust when , [b]after nearly a year[/b], they still haven't released multiplayer heists like they promised. All in an effort to put out "free" dlcs that make ignorant people want to buy their "GTA Dollars"... it's downright sleazy.

Three companies only- Bungie. Even down to ODST (which I don't think was too popular). Rockstar. Favorite? Red dead redemption, hell yes. Bethesda. Love EVERYTHING they made and will make.

Bungie, basically. I guess I could also say Remedy, but the only games I've ever played by them are the Alan Wake games. I think they had a new IP coming up, maybe I should look into that... Every game I have by Square Enix seems to be pretty good too, I suppose.

Dice. I've seen what they're doing with Battlefront and I trust them completely. And I see you going: "Durr idiot, they made hardline Durr!" To answer you, they didn't some other company made it so the battlefield saga is unstained

1 ReplyBungie well for the last decade it was pretty much the Halo games from them and I enjoyed those. Bioware yes even with DA2. I got enough enjoyment out of the game to still like it though I felt it was their weakest effort. Bethesda though they really need to work on bug fixes a little more. SquareEnix.. they would have lost that if they didn't fix FFXIV, but they did. Konami would have been on there if I had played it smart and stuck only to the MG series.... Granted I think all of these companies have made games that I have had no interest in or knew that I wouldn't enjoy. I avoided those. This is pretty much the list of companies whose name alone will at least make me take a look at a game.

Bungie has yet to disappoint me with anything they have done yet. Even ODST failed to disappoint. Digital Illusions CE (DICE) did not disappoint me until Battlefield 3 came out. Battlefield 3 was a fun game, but it had its fair share of bugs and poor design. Same can be said for Battlefield 4. Hopefully DICE decide to make Bad Company 3 soon. CD Projekt really impressed me with the Witcher 1 and 2 and don't look like they will stop the trend of impressing me with the Witcher 3.
