Sell me on being a female character.
So lately I've been seeing more and more people be female characters. It sorta seems interesting. Can someone sell me on this?

3 RepliesI always assume if a guy is using a female he is trying for a smaller hitbox, which incidentally, is a b*tch move. You shouldn't even be able to pick the opposite gender.

I just think males are a bit too bulky, I prefer a slim body type.

Frankly I have 2 other male characters so why not have my third character be a female? Also I think the warlock armor looks better on a female and female protagonists are sweet!

Well I play all 3 character classes so I made a female character as well I just thought it would be stupid to have 3 male characters

People have this imaginary idea that female character hit boxes are smaller. If you want to be a feminine man, go for it. ;)

Yea i was asking my friend why all his characters and he just said all the faces and hairstyles were better, and other reasons :)

A buddy & I play coop together, so I'll dedicate one character that I only play with him to keep our character's progress in line. I'll play a female character for variety & gives him something to look at. It's also fun to randomly exclaim, "Stop staring at my ass!"

Some PvP players believe that female characters present a smaller target, and therefore an advantage. As a PvE player, I just play female characters just for variety. A different way to experience the game.

I always choose the female character in any PvP game I play. For the soul purpose that they sound different. My friends and I always go female for our whole team. That way if you hear a man grunt, sprint, etc, you know it's the other team. This makes for a huge advantage especially when people are sprinting behind you or next to you or whatever. Now you have a visual and audio confirmation of there the other team is. Worked well on the 'Pro' gametypes in Halo.

Well I dunno if this translates to Destiny, but in gears of war a lot of people played as woman in the PvP because they have smaller hit box's, making them harder to hit and giving them an advantage.

In Destiny however that is only partly true, all current males are a tad silly except the Exo male. Which is the only cool looking male. 2nd it's a game you can have multiple characters, I typically hav a even amount of genders 1 male & 1 female on every game. 3rd who doesn't want a awesome cooler version of Lara Croft, you get to make a bad @$$ female fighter that looks awesome. Like a freaking Valkyrie it's simply epic & some things are meant to be a female look at Diablo 3's Demon Hunter I can't play that class without being female thanks to the D3 trailers. Lastly somehow they are slightly artful in the way they defeat enemies. I mean look at Selene in the movie underworld - epic Note: People who say it's for.... "looking at" are just making poor excuses because they don't know a valid argument or r seriously perv's who think all men can relate to a sterotype....

Why not play as a girl or a robot or a blue alien elf ..... My point is it's a video game do wet ever u want to play as I just think playing as my self in a video game is some times boring and I rather look at a female character then a male character don't get me wrong if u like to play as ur self go right ahead that's the point to do what ever u want to play as cuz it's a video game.

I don't get where that unwritten rule came from, but it shows weakness in men those who oppose such a silly rule. It's a video game afterall.

8 RepliesI play female because on the Hunter specifically I don't like the way armor fits on the male character model Bungie uses. It looks sleek and more streamlined to me.
