So lately I've been seeing more and more people be female characters. It sorta seems interesting. Can someone sell me on this?

1 ReplyAll the sexist crap being said aside, as a man I find playing a female character more liberating. I don't end up comparing myself to them and can simply enjoy the game. Also, I find female aesthetics more pleasing than their male counterpart.

I really hope it's just because of preference or diversity or something and not because they think that they're harder to hit while female. Because they're not.
-
5 RepliesStatistically, women live longer than men which makes them great for PvP.

I prefer their slick silouhette to the bulkiness of male characters, most armor looks better. Usually am female in RPGs.

Boobs

Depends for me, if it was like COD Ghosts I would've picked a girl cause they significantly smaller, but with destiny not so much, idk about Titan or warlock though

2 Replies* Motoko Kusanagi * Lelu "Dallas multi pass" * Jill Valentine * Mrs. Smith * Vasquez (should have lived longer , but at least she went out hard core) * Nikita * Artemis (plenty of other ancient female deities of either war, the hunt, etc.) * River and Zoe (Firefly) Plus plenty of other strong female leads from many sources of inspiration either from books or film. But the biggest reason, is why not? At the end of the day, it's just a bunch of pixels on the screen. If someone has an issue with it, it's there problem, not mine. You can't force the ignorance out of someone, all you can do is offer them the information to help themselves.

They aren't stupidly oversexualized.

I tend to go with which ever sucks the least in games. Most games make males sound like prepubescent boy scouts, so I role female. Also if there isn't adequate black looking character customization or at least cool aliens, I role female. Thankfully I don't have either issues with destiny.

You get boobs, and the guys faces are to as well made in my opinion

For me, it's a roleplaying thing. Every character I create, has their own persona. I'm not playing as myself, I never do, I'm playing as a character I created in my head. Sometimes they have backstory, sometimes they don't, but I always have a "theme" they fit into, and sometimes a female fits that theme better than a male.

honestly to me the female characters had a more graceful feel to me in Destiny or was it just me lol

Boobies man boobies

6 RepliesYall are just dumb, and im over here like "I choose a guy.... Cause... He's a guy? Im a guy? A massive portion of my life is about guys?....." Even though I connect with the female more, its just a choice, this is an RPG, youre roleplaying a character, be lord sniffsbottum, queen of fartland for all anyone cares, i certainly wont insult or ignore you because youre a dude playing as a girl, or a girl as a dude. ROLEPLAYING GAME.

5 RepliesIt could be that they simply want to use a female other than their actual character. Personally I can't use a women character, I just can't
-
2 RepliesI never play female characters, but I have been contemplating playing a female Awoken because they look so badass. I think it says a lot about closing the gender inequality gap in games when the female characters are so cool that I want to play as them.

1 ReplySmaller target in pvp
