Seriously why and don't say pvp unless it's events like iron banner because everything else is normalized in regular pvp I understand if only 1 exotic weapon and 1 armor if it's iron banner events stuff like that when armor really matters :D

If Bungie thinks this is best. This is best.

I think it's a smart move by Bungie. Doesn't bother me.
-
No if we didnt have that the everyone that gets decked in full gold is godly and nolives and hackers can accomplish that quite easily which is crap

1 ReplyCommon Uncommon Rare Legendary Exotic
-
No because this means we can choose which exotics to equip. Otherwise everyone will just have exotics in each slot.
-
Nope.
-
Exotic weapons and armour are very powerful and there being more than one equipped at a time would lead to people becoming very overpowered as the armours give massive passive bonuses that could be stacked if you had more than one on.
-
12 RepliesPlayer vs. enemy needs to be just as balanced as player vs. player. The fact of the matter is that limiting players to one exotic weapon and one exotic armor piece will allow each exotic to be stronger and crazier without unbalancing either mode. In addition, it allows players to make defining choices about which exotics they choose to complement their playstyle and build. This in turn will increase the variety of end game builds significantly.
-
It's for balancing reasons. They can still make exotics extremely good, and it allows them to balance end game content for an all legendary setup, allowing more people to access said content.
-
I don't know the answer, but I'm not mad at it happening. However, since I do have OCD, it is going to annoy the crap out of me xD
-
Yeah :/
-
Makes for more unique builds. You can really focus down on your main, or if you prefer on your secondary. Both have pros and cons. Same with armour.
-
It's for balance. The Exotics have super cool upgrades and having all Exotic equipped would be OP.

1 Replytheirs a achievement to ware a full set of exotic gear

Right now i dotn see any exoctic weapons i like, i think ill just get a exotic rocket launcher. But i'm in love with mask of the third man.

Does anyone have a source for this? I've read up a lot on Destiny, but I've only seen the 1 exotic weapon and armor restriction mentioned on the forums. On topic, I believe it's a good idea. While yes, there will probably be a few pieces I want to equip at the same time, it is another way of customizing your guardian. However, pieces seem to be tied to certain subclasses, which may limit the customization possible. I wouldn't be surprised to see the bladedancer wanting, say, a gauntlet (***I'm pulling this out of my Ass here, do not know if there is an exotic gauntlet for hunters that upgrades the bladedancer subclass***) that increases their melee attack speed, and the gunslinger wanting an exotic helm that provides some benefit to the gunslinger class. Food for thought, friends.

It is a game. Games have rules. That is one of the rules of the game. It don't understand being angry about it. Do you get angry because you can't carry the ball in basketball? Or because you can't score from outside the field of play in football?
-
I'm not even a little mad. It forces you to make impactful choices, and makes it so you don't need to find 7 of the rarest items in the game to actually have a full build, which is one thing that i did not like about borderlands.
-
Because it would make PvE super easy? It doesn't really matter though - if you find more exotic gear, just give it to one of your alt characters!
-
No im not mad, if you had multiple exotic weapons to switch from easily and fast then it would be really unfair to guys with out full sets of legendaries and make pve to easy.
-
I'm fine with it.
