Ok I understand that the titans ability storm first deals bonus damage but a regular melee hit kills another player in 2 hits and if u use storm fist it still kills them in two hits...so where's the advantage?? It doesn't seem very viable for pvp unless u have discharged too and even then if u kill an enemy with storm fist and it creates the aoe effect and overload procs and resets the cool down and u immediately get another storm fist kill it seems pointless unless u have both aoe effect running at the same time from both kills other wise storm fist and overload are completely pointless for pvp besides the fact that after u melee someone with it it requires just a few more shots to kill them with a gun AND u can use transfusion and regenerate health immediately which is really the only viable part...I'm just more concered with why there is even additional damage and what's the point of it?? ......I love the striker setup and I love playing titan I'm just not sure the viability is everything it has the potential to be
1 ReplyIt does more damage than regular melee so a few good shots first will allow you to finish quickly with a storm fist

even in PvE even, the damage boost was negligible at most. Storm fist is incredibly lackluster.

12 RepliesYou *might* get a kill with the extra damage by hitting someone who was injured already with Storm Fist that wouldn't be lethal with normal melee. Furthermore, the combo of "shoulder charge" and "storm fist" may be lethal making the "illuminated" trait a good way to get more FoH. I'm more concerned with Titan's Disintegrate. Defender doesn't have access to shoulder charge and to make things worse EVERY one of the Disintegrate traits require it to land a kill.

10 RepliesYou might want to consider there is more to the game besides PvP

11 RepliesI admit I know very little about Titan. I don't recall the abilities they get. From what little I do know is that Arc damage is needed to break Fallen's shields. It's effective from what I've seen.

3 RepliesEdited by UNIT 242: 7/31/2014 3:01:33 AMThe heavy melee is a chance to finish off enemies who are already damaged, for example the slide shotgun combo womb. If your shotgun doesn't kill them outright, your storm fist will. Additionally it could only take one melee instead of two standard if they have full health, half shields. If you hit them with storm fist while they have half shields they will die, otherwise it would take two standard hits when they are at have health.
