Why do gay people want attention so bad?
Pride parades are a good example. No one cares you're gay. Also, they use an accent to advertise their gay. It makes no sense.

3 RepliesPride parades have very little to do with public acceptance. They are celebrating the Stonewall Riots of 1969. This is considered the birth of the Gay Rights movement. They also don't care if the community watches or not. Its about them no longer keeping their true nature behind doors.

I have no ill will towards gays. That being said I live near San Francisco and I hate the pride parade. You want to make a statement go march somewhere that doesn't accept you. I know gays and lesbians I respect and then there are those that define themselves entirely by their sexuality. There is more to life than that no matter what gender you prefer.

Most people are attention whores. Being gay doesn't make someone not act like people normally do. It's like asking why people in government can be corrupt. They can be because people can be assholes, irrespective of what position they hold.

I have no problems with gay people or their celebrations. My problem is that if I held a White Straight Male Pride day that lots of people would call me not nice names and that hurts I'm feelings.
