Destiny withdrawal support group
For anyone who is already suffering from destiny withdrawal. This is an open group and we support all people with their varrying levels of addiction.

Hi! My name is HelluvaRoman and I am suffering from Destiny Withdrawal. Over the course of the 5 days I was able to play the beta, I racked up over 36 hours of playtime. I was almost always in a fire team with friends as well. Now that the beta has ended I don't know what to do with my life. I dream of performing backflips on my sparrow, salivate at the thought of the next engram drop, cry over my unfinished tower soccer match, and laugh reminiscing about the spontaneous tower 3v3 dance-off that I lost. I am unsure how to return to normal life without my ghost acting as secretary. I am considering undergoing cryogenic freezing until Destiny is released and then withdrawing from all outside society.

Hi everyone. My psn name is Dizzenwitz, and I'm a Destiny addict. Ever since I found out about the game on 2012, it caught my attention. Still, I couldn't get a beta code and because of my slow internet connection, I only got to play the beta on the last day, on my ps3. Even thought I spent almost all sunday playing Destiny, as soon as the beta ended, withdrawal started. I can't stop thinking about Destiny. I can't play any other game because they aren't Destiny. All I can't talk about is how great the Destiny's beta was. All I want right now, is Destiny. Bungie, bring me back my lvl 8 Titan! :'(

Is it bad that I dream about this game? Ever since the beta stopped I have been kinda lost. I just keep hoping that time will fly by so I can make my Titan again! I am so sad that I can't play anymore. I am seriously addicted to this game like a drug! I need more of it! I'm not ashamed of that, it's a great game and I love the world around and can't wait to explore more and more of it! I wants Titan to grow strong and powerful! my addiction before finding destiny was video games, and as someone said its easyer to replace an addiction with a diferent addiction. sadly destiny is a video game and i am no longer interested in any other video games. its like going for pot or cocain then finding meth for the first time. need more of it!!!

24 RepliesBefore Destiny, I was an incredibly antisocial gamer. I tried as best I could to avoid communicating with people. Up until yesterday, actually, it remained this way. Then, as I explored the ruins of Old Russia, I came across a random Titan. He waved. I waved back, and carried about my Vanguard quest. He found me again, and waved. I waved back, and he invited me to his fireteam. No words were spoken, but he pointed to me then got on his Sparrow and continued pointing. I complied, and followed him to the first Gold Chest location. Then the next. Then the next. Before this, my only chest was found after the Strike. He disappeared after I showed my new loot; a golden colored Sparrow. In that moment, I was filled with such powerful awe, and love, and admiration for the entire game. That a person would help a random with such effort, that we could come together to do such things with not a single word. I am addicted to that beautiful feeling Destiny gave me. I need it again.

Hi everyone, I'm The Calrog. *[i]Hi Cal.[/i]* My addiction was serious, I played from the beta's first moments to its very last, I met my great grandmother for the first time in 8 months today, she's been staying all week but I've been too preoccupied. The withdrawal is agony, I've already turned to binge watching Breaking Bad and Game Of Thrones. I even stayed up until 5:00AM watching that shitty Ben Stiller Movie 'The Watch'. I'm detoxing now, I pray to Bungie for you my friends, pray for me as well?

2 RepliesSo with no other games holding any appeal to me I tried to do something that some people call "play outside" I went and gave it a try. This "outside" had stellar graphics and effects, but there was no action, no HUD, and all in all this "outside" that everyone believes is so great felt like the most boring game of all.

I have to say, when I first read about Destiny, I had a feeling it would give me a mix of almost everything I wanted, with the right portion of narrative and imaginary interpretation of a player generated persona/character creation, combined with well executed and diverse game play. I do wonder what they can expand upon, probably no ship battles, larger scale combat public events based on the number of guardians participating?...I guess they kinda do that....tower area is relatively simple, guess there's no reason for more npcs. What about those colony references, I really like exploring getting loot, such nice ruins and environments......six more weeks....I would like to see more complex, interesting beacon missions, sorry this turned into random thoughts....

I came to work today and my boss asked me something I don't recall what it was but it triggered something I immediately went to my work station and attempted to storm fist my way through my tasks till I couldn't stand it anymore and tryed to fist of havoc in order to clear what was the immediate threat..... Needless to say my boss sent me home and told me I could come back when I remember to take my anti-crazy pills...

i loaded up destiny in the late afternoon on the 27th and saw that they were telling me my mission was complete i quickly started screaming at the top of my lungs "no no no why do you know what you have done?!?! how can my destiny be complete when i have only just began" i quickly after sat down on a busy corner exchanging favors for a glimps at destiny again once i saw it got out of hand i started to search for help and that is were i found this place

4 RepliesI have this headache and ringing in my ears from too many shots from the Jigoku scout rifle I've used on Sepiks Prime. It's really starting to get annoying and I've taken headache pills and coffee for it. I even got lots of rest. Nothing has worked so far, which means either a change in pitch of the scout rifle, or I won't be using the scout rifles, which is ok with me. I've been coming to these forums just recently and I actually post stuff, even though I have social anxiety. It's surprising to see that this game helped me get through a bit of my social anxiety and I'm very grateful for both the Bungie community and Bungie. Thanks guys :) P.S. I didn't play the Archeage beta because this beta was too much fun. I haven't played a single video game since the beta ended

3 RepliesMy eyes still blood stained from the excessive gameplay during the beta, you can check the profile and see for yourself. I really miss my sparrow *tear*, I spent most of my days melting fallen and hive baddies in explore sometimes with a chatty psn group; life was good. Now I just look at my ps4 in dismay searching to find the endurance to fire up either COD, BF4, or even halo4. Help. -armedfaith
