The beta is over. How did you go out?

And what a trip it was. I overlooked the earth as the server shut down, and broadcasted to twitch for the final hour and a half. Let's hear your stories, Guardians.

6 RepliesI finished out an EPIC Apocalyptic Battle in the DEVILS LAYER area.... 13 GAURDIANS started & 3 finished it.... CLN FOR LIFE..... WE ARE THE MONSTERS THAT THE MONSTERS FEAR..... They came at level 8's 9's 10's 11's & Supers.... flaming blue thralls, red glowing knights & super Hallowed knights just to name a few.... we rocked with level 8 guns & armor with 62 attack & 160 deffence all uncommon's.... all armor & weapons maxed & geared toward the cooldown of grenades..... my CD's were at 100% with a 75 point Discipline factor as my scout rifle kills added to grenade CD's for every kill attained...... All powers BETA maxed as a TITAN EXO.... A.K.A Optimus Prime.... Lets just say they failed at a most beautiful onslaught that left only THREE GUARDIANS standing.... while others were pushed away out of the area due to the massive waves of foes continuosly coming.... we stood while they were waiting for revival from the brutal punishment dealt by these enemies that were much higher in rank... & do note that this was not a PUBLIC ADVENT.... This was indeed a random happening.... WELL WORTH ENDING THE BETA TO A MEGA VICTORY; FIGHTING LIKE GODS AMONGST MEN & IT WAS US WHO WON.... THANK YOU BUNGIE... FEED ME MORE CAUSE THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO PLAY WERE C.L.N or Crimelord 77 WILL BE PLAYING AT.

Managed to do the Devil's Lair mish for the first time and then get back to the Tower just before shut down. It was fun way to end the Beta.

Sadly the last day I played was the 24th. I had to many things to do. However I wasn't really upset about missing the Moon, because I prefer to play with friends in this game and none of my friends were able to play either

Not with a bang, but a whimper. Rage Quited a game at 0.5 K/D last night. Had some great games though, finnished with a 1.24 K/D which is ok with me for a first crack at it. I also found out that getting "Way of the Gun" is possibly the most satisfying thing to do in a computer game ever. So good.

2 RepliesI hadn't yet tried the Strike mission yet, so I decided to give it a go. Tried it on my Titan, died quite a few times and gave up. Couldn't even use my shotgun on a boss without getting one shotted. Switched to my Hunter and went in with my Scout and Sniper. Ended up going down only once, topped the kill chart with 87 and pretty much single-handedly took down the giant eye at the end. It was a fun way to end things and confirmed that I will be playing Hunter when the game goes live.

I sat and watched the traveler with some friends, good timing too I suppose as we only waited about 5 minutes then BLAM, our time was up. I guess now I'm gonna start developing withdrawal symptoms from that, god damn it

1 ReplyLast match was in the Crucible on Venus. I went 18 kills and 0 deaths. At the last 10 seconds of the game I supercharged my golden gun and BAM the servers were offline before the match was over. Lol still shows up in my stats though. Went down swinging!!

I went out screaming as the servers kept disconnecting every time I went to play (never happened within the first 17 hours of playing the beta), then I cried a bit, went looking for a destiny support group so I could talk about the mass despression

Managed to get everyone in the tower dancing up on that blue pillar to the left. Twas a good time indeed.
