I really enjoyed the beta, but I don't think this game is the best in it's class in any specific area. It's basically a jack of all trades, but a master of none. Having said that, I think I will still have lots of fun playing Destiny when it releases. When I look at other games that are coming out this year, this is the only game that changes things up enough for me to want to play on day one. I'm interested in Borderlands: The Pre Sequel and Far Cry 4, but I've already been there, done that with the previous games in each series, so I'll probably wait a year and pick them up for cheap during a Steam sale or something. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare could manage to be a major reboot for the series, so I'll be keeping an eye out on this game. Battlefield: Hardline didn't excite me whatsoever during the beta, so I'll probably skip that game and play Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 3 on PC if I get the urge for some Battlefield. The only other games that I can say that I am truly excited for other than Destiny are Mass Effect 4, Star Wars: Battlefront 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider and H-Hour: World's Elite. Even though Destiny doesn't completely reinvent the wheel and is missing some key features such as chat in the tower, I think it will still be one of the best games to have come out in the last couple of years.
