After taking a minute to scroll through some of these threads, I have found that so many are giving up on the game. Some even going as far to cancel their preorders. I ask, why? The beta was great! And to think that bungie (the ones who brought us Halo) are going to let us down when the full title releases is ignorant to say the least. If anything the beta has me excited for what the full game has to offer. I haven't lost my faith in bungie, does anyone else out there still believe?

I believe! Well said!
-
I completely agree
-
It's funny how they "cancel it" over forums but limited and ghost editions are still sold out everywhere.
-
Hell yeah I still believe! The hype train is real with this one. Sure I'm a little peeved that my charector may get wiped, and I'll lose my sexy Cydonia and iron banner titan mark, and the whole 1 explorable region thing is kinda disappointing, but the beta was sooooooo good. I switched to xbox because of halo and Bungie, and I'll continue to lend them my support until they disprove themselves.

I'm not a fan of fps games but Destiny has me hooked, just not to happy about missing out on the ghost edition. I didn't think i would like much less enjoy any part of the PvP but i must say i will be earning all my iron banner goodies and legendary ship back in September.

This is what Mass Effect multi-player could and should have been. Yea a little close to HALO for my standards but with the co=op options as well as the PVP. I had NO intention of getting this game as FPS are difficult for me, but the Beta has sold me. Someone else canceled pre-order is mine for the taking.

I believe in Harvey dent.

I had a great time playing the beta! It made me even more excited for the full game
-
I'm still excited for the game. But I was let down by a few things that need to be changed to make the game great. Still gonna buy it though. Just might not spend my life on it without a few changes.

I thought the beta was great, It wasn't just a beta it gave us an experience of the full game but a gaming experience in it's own right, with a very well thought out plan in terms of delivery, The special events, and rounding it off with access to the moon on the last day. I am excited for Destiny, its the first game in years that I have truly enjoyed so much so I feel the need to sign up to it's affiliate forum. Destiny will be about for 10 years so whether you like it or not face the fact that it's going to be a household name and will stick around for a while. The exploration side of things and the competitive gameplay are both 10 out of 10 for me the only criticism I would press on really is Dedicated servers. I'm not a fanboy, I'm not even a hardcore gamer, but when I play a game I expect to be entertained. Thanks Bungie.

Every single second that we had in this amazing world was glorious

Edited by tha1truestoner: 7/28/2014 6:02:27 AMOn the one hand, Destiny feels like they put a bunch of other popular shooters in a blender. On the other, they did everything better than the games they're ripping off. Kind of how Halo was a slowed down Quake/Tribes clone, but better. I cancelled my preorder upon seeing the PS Alpha footage, I pre ordered it again after playing the beta.

The negative voices drown out the good, think of it this way: If something goes as planned you probably don't comment on it, if it does not then you do.

There is actually an in game quote I quite like about belief, I will now share it. "Belief is a weapon, but so is an arc rifle"
-
Many of the players who love games never see a forum, they just enjoy it. Tends always to be complainers who head straight to forums to bash a game, so I take no notice play the game and judge myself
-
I had fun with the beta and am very much looking forward to play the full game! If people want to cancel their pe-order, then that's up to them. Around €60-$60 (more for specials) is quite a lot of money for many people. For me personally the beta was more than I expected it to be, but hey, I never play beta's. I even was surprised when I got a beta code when I ordered the PS4 bundle. What I do find very strange, is that people cancel pre-orders based on speculation on this forum. You can at least wait 'till a later stadium, when things you are disappointed about are confirmed.

The whiny few always come to the forum
-
Like everyone says, don't worry, people don't go much on forums to express how happy they are about something, they just are, while people that want to complain can come here to break down other peoples opinion and kinda force their opinion on other fellow guardians, pretty sad if you ask me... So thanks for the positive thread and I'm with you on this one like the majority who played the beta (I assume)

I cancelled my preorder from an overseas online retailer to a local one to avoid a postage wait; also changed to the limited edition while I was at it; that was after playing the alpha 1 day.
-
Edited by TwigTwig: 7/28/2014 12:06:06 PMI'm not giving up or cancelling my pre order. That's not to say I'm not disappointed with the 'apparent' size of the full game. If the rumours are true then we've completed 1/4 of the story and it was rather forgettable. But no, I'm not giving up. I'll wait for full game to decide.
-
I upgraded to the limited edition. :-)
-
Cause the game was being severely overhyped, they were dissapointed and thought the beta was gonna be the whole game and think the areas are small cause you cant go to certain places cause the cap was 8 are mad their stuff doesnt transfer over. im still getting this game.
-
The people who still trust Bungie mostly stay quiet on the forums, as their opinions would likely get torn apart by disgruntled former fans. Make no mistake, these forums can be a dangerous place.. D_D

This beta is the most excited I've been for a game in years. I'll be there at launch!
