After taking a minute to scroll through some of these threads, I have found that so many are giving up on the game. Some even going as far to cancel their preorders. I ask, why? The beta was great! And to think that bungie (the ones who brought us Halo) are going to let us down when the full title releases is ignorant to say the least. If anything the beta has me excited for what the full game has to offer. I haven't lost my faith in bungie, does anyone else out there still believe?

I BELIEVE I CAN FLY. I BELIEVE WE CAN TOUCH THE SKY.

Edited by RampagingKumquat: 7/27/2014 8:10:57 PMI agree, although there were lots of small problems and a few big problems with the game. Overall I thought the beta was excellent and I cant wait for the retail version on september 9th. My only real concern is the PVP but im confident that Bungie will be able to fix it. I definitely still have faith in this game, and until the 9th ill be counting the hours until I can send my sparrow tumbling into the air yet again.

Edited by TehW3apon: 7/27/2014 8:11:43 PMI don't understand people. It's just the BETA. We're seeing like 5% (if that) of the final game. I'm more certain of wanting and liking this game than I have ever been. September 9th might as well be ten friggen years away for as long as I have to wait for this awesomeness. The ONLY good thing about the month wait is that my honey-do list will get done and I'll have more brownie points to play the game. I have to finish the built-in closet/cabinets I built in the bedroom for my wife to have more storage and to add to the look of the room. I also have to finish framing out, wiring, and moving the plumbing so I can finish the laundry room and start building those cabinets. Anyway...lots to keep me busy.

I believe. Only a month left! xD

They team up with Activision the same ppl who use the same stuff over and over agn at least that's my friend say wan I ask if they are getting it and I do feel uneasy that they may pull the same shit as Activision like withholding stuff that that should've been in the full game like day 1 DLC as for me I'm getting the game this will show me which Way They will go with their games in the future as far as content and how they will treat us the consumer.

I've had a little taste now I want a bite!! After being fed up and bored of the same rubbish the gaming industry churns out this has offered me hope and I'm excited about this game or can I say experience because that's what I think it has the chance to be. That is what I'm after. Something I can say is MY game, not playing different doo doo every night but getting back to being engrossed in something special. I'll see you I'm sept!!

Edited by Xurelle: 7/27/2014 8:35:44 PMI love Destiny and am still buying it- both for PS3 and PS4 as it happens. Now that I have seen with my own eyes that my characters are bound to my PSN account and not what version of the game I'm playing, I'm an extra happy camper! I can team with my pals on PS3 for free, and then fly solo on the extraordinarily-better-looking PS4 and keep on leveling. Yay, Destiny! Can't wait! PS/ It still would be nice to have a constant in-game map (even when in the Tower) available, as well as a bloody freakin' CHAT WINDOW BUNGIE-- embrace the chat window! Feels sooooo emptyyyyyyy......

It's a fun game. And despite my numerous disappointments, the only thing that was heavy enough that caused me to cancel my pre-order was lack of split-screen. There's no worse choice they could have made for me.
-
I think the game is awesome. I am definitely excited to get the full game .

This always happens to every major title that has tons of hype behind it. Best thing to do is formulate your own opinion when the game releases. People are bitching about how much content will be available on day one but are forgetting how much will be added over time. As much as I'm looking forward to day 1, I can't wait to see what the game will be like 6 months to a year after release.
-
Because they spent $60 on the beta, that they thought was going to have 50% of the game. lol As for me I'm still buying it. Was I hoping for a higher level cap in the beta? Yes, but that didn't matter as soon I got to play the game and seeing all that awesome gear we get to use when the full game is released.

I STILL BELIEVE!!!

I have a full pledged allegiance with Bungie's game right now. The only reason anyone is worried is because of the rumors from the ingrates that are flooding the forums. As soon as people over-hype a game, they get disappointed when it isn't perfect. Bungie is taking the fall becuase these people are way too critical. I feel it is necessary for the ever so shrinking people who DO trust Bungie, should stop trying to clean the community. Let's face it, the community is screwed, instead of working to support the community, let's just support Bungie and screw those people!
-
I whole-heartedly believe in this game! Bungie has developed such amazing games in the past and I can bet that Destiny will rise above all of Bungie's previous games.
-
For those of us who still believe, this one's for you...
-
Pumped for September 9th
-
I still support bungie. 90% of complaints are from hype that were unsourced and never announced by bungie. So it's not their fault if those peoples hopes were dashed. Bungie is an excellent community based company and I have faith in them. I loved the beta and cannot wait to play release.

I BELIEVE!

There's still gonna be millions of people playin this game. There's still gonna be millions of people bitchin
-
I'm struggling to believe

The disappointed ones are the minority. Seem to be the vocal minority. There are more that loved the beta and will appreciate it then those that don't. Don't listen to the haters, they were not loved when they were young.
-
It's the rule of skewed perspective. The unhappy customers are the ones who feel the need to be heard, and thus voice their opinions on the Internet. It's similar to a customer service phone #: almost nobody calls to thank you for a good product, because that's what they were expecting when they paid for it.

Edited by Mandingo: 7/27/2014 11:14:20 PMI just hate the Drop / Loot / Reward system. Really ... the only way to get the most amount of glimmer is doing some retarded Chest hunt ? You got to by kidding me, that just makes me want to cancel my pre-order. Why kill mobs when u get nothing ? Just skip them .... woo Rush down the objectives boys! The Alpha was so much better
-
I do.

I "missed the boat" on the Halo franchise. I may go back and play the reissues, but dunno... I knew that I was NOT gonna miss Bungie's next great project. And, after playing the beta, I remain confident that it's still a great project! Looking forward to the full version.

I'm getting the game no matter what. However I hope the game isn't as small as the threads are freaking out about. Either way the series as a whole will be one of the best in gaming.
