After taking a minute to scroll through some of these threads, I have found that so many are giving up on the game. Some even going as far to cancel their preorders. I ask, why? The beta was great! And to think that bungie (the ones who brought us Halo) are going to let us down when the full title releases is ignorant to say the least. If anything the beta has me excited for what the full game has to offer. I haven't lost my faith in bungie, does anyone else out there still believe?

Do you believe in life after love, though?

The Beta was also most likely 10% of the game. Alpha was ~6g, Beta 14g. If the release game is only about 40g. That means if we take 6g for one area on each planet, there will only be the ones we have seen in the videos. (Earth, Moon, Mars, Venus, and Reef) While this is no small amount of gameplay, it is a lot less than what Bungie implied. Half those areas of concept art people like to bring up are almost certainly Crucible maps, not explorable areas. If this is all there is in the final game plus the 6 strikes and 1 raid, I will not buy this game until it goes to the bargain bin. Borderlands gives just as much if not more content; and that was a last-gen game.

A lot of people who speak out on these forums are unhappy with the game. However they are not the majority. The majority of the fan base doesn't even post on here. Don't worry it will all be good friend

The only thing that distracted from the beta was the occasional unkillable lagsters....I monitored my connection during this time running <15ms to nearest server, so I know I have a fairly solid connection during playtime

It's good to know that there are others out there with the common sense to know that this was just a small look into something greater.

A lot of people just complain about the pvp. Put it this way if this was the full game pvp could have been like this.

Me and my friends love it. We are already making memories on it just like we did with Halo!

I am just more excited. I understand this is BETA TESTING and we are being given just a taste of what even the areas we have played thus far have to offer. It is sad that so many are willing to dismiss something possibly great because it doesn't give immediate satisfaction.

I haven't lost faith either. I think some had been expecting Destiny to be something else, perhaps an FPS, MMO, etc. I have in the many years I've been gaming played a great number of genres and see elements of almost all of them. I see the social aspect of STO, aspects of FPS, as well as RPG. Me personally I love it ! Can't wait for the release in Sep.

Edited by DubST3Rized: 7/27/2014 3:42:42 PMSome people just dont really understand the game. They come with expectations of something else entirely. I mean hell some of these fools trying to compare it to CoD ?! Theres so much more to gaming than running around shooting others in TDM. Im confident in what Destiny has to offer. It will be a great game worth my time and money
