So why do Titan and Warlock players hate on Hunters?
So I've been reading a lot of post of people talking shit about hunters and I wanna know why when all the classes are great and I love them all
I just happen to play Hunter more cause it suits my play style
I just love the speed and movement with the jump then the other two plus the trowing knives are awesome

17 RepliesEdited by Numero Uno: 7/29/2014 7:51:38 AMI rolled Titan from day one of class announcements, I stuck with it and loved my Beta Titan to death! I tried a warlock, didn't get very far because his jump sucked and he was weak in PvE but the super is decent. I tried a Hunter and after the intro mission I deleted it. Just didn't suit my play style so I saw it as wasted space. Planned on deleting my warlock so I could make a Titan of every race, but will have to wait till September to do that... The thing about Hunters ruling PvP is bull, anybody can wreck it up in reg PvP, but in Iron Banner I destroyed Hunters and Warlocks, and yes other Titans. Why? Because of skill and better gear. Reg PvP is like CoD sadly. First to shoot first to kill, unless the player who shot first has a crudy follow up aim.

Its mainly cause a lot of hunters roll with snipers. And most people get all upset when they die from a long range shot. Its not they hate hunters, they just hate on snipers

1 Replyhonestly tho out of all the classes hunter is the only one that requires any kind of skill seeing how with the golden gun you have to not miss with your 3 shots to kill someone on top of that the 3 sec animation makes you a sitting duck in pvp and with everyone jumping around like rabbits making it a lil more challenging to hit them. But with Titan or warlock it's a instant activation and anyone in there way is insta death not to mention its an area effect so u dont got to aim. So by far hunters are the only class you need skill to use

People hate on the hunter because there's like 10 people in these forums that are hunters and say stupid stuff that give us all a bad name. I'm a hunter and I have nothing wrong with people who play as a warlock (like my brother) or a Titan. People say that the golden gun is op but really, it's hard to time. The thing about golden gun is the animation once you use it is 2 seconds long. See, if you run into someone and you want to use golden gun, by the time you get it out, you've already been shot in the face 10 times. That's the downside, the upside is it's ranged and we get three chances to hit someone. Just make sure you use it a few seconds before you make contact with another player. All in All, I find all the guardians fairly even and we have to stop hating on each other because of the class you chose. Now let's stop arguing and go destroy some darkness!

In general, I feel that it's because the Gunslinger sub class for the hunter requires a lot more skill to utilize them correctly than the other 2 sub classes. Because of this and the fact that everyone loves to play as the cheeky rogue character, there are a lot more high ranking players playing as hunters. A handful of the lesser skills players got butt hurt when they were getting dominated by skilled hunters and rather than admit there own paltry performance, blamed the class and claimed it was OP. You will often find that the people with the lowest ability and skill yell and whine the loadest. Like a chihuahua, they overcompensate for their inadequacies with their high pitch voices...

Because I played all three and found hunters to be lacking, in my opinion of course. If other people like it, then good on them.

As an Exo Titan, I support the equality of the classes, its those humans I can't stand, or those bloody awoken, or those damn Exos. Damn those Exos, they ruined the Tower!

I hate the hunters who complain about their class. The hunter is fine as is, and in my opinion needs no modification just the correct play style.

3 RepliesThing is, there awere mostly Hunters in beta pvp, so many people are complaining just because of the fact that they got killed...by Hunter. As it happened, it was with the Golden Gun.. But in single player? Nobody said a word! Respectfully, anyone can play with class the like/which suits them most. As it happened, and as it happens every time in every game, I go for guns and muscles, so Titan is my character of choice. Tried Hunter, didn't like it that much and didn't have time to level her up. Never tried Warlock, but will try them all in the full game. But Titan...Titan will be my first, my most geared and my favourite character. Can't wait. To be honest, it doesn't matter what class you play in pvp, all classes are perfectly balanced and if you know what you are doing, you will rule the battlefield with whatever class you are playing with. Alas, we all have the same weapons, same defence, only different supers and abilities. The Destiny will choose you, you will choose your Destiny.

People hate not the hunter because the hunters keep complaining about being underpowered when they get such good KD's and are awesome. People are just complaining about other classes being OP.

8 RepliesThe main issue is golden gun uses aim asset whilst others dont so they get 3 kills alot easier than the others , but also another issue is titans grenade strength is a joke i have had direct hits and 2 pulses they walk away whilst hunters lock on and due to normal crucible having no lvl advantages titans armour bonus doesnt count. Simply put its a noobish lower skill class atm although with a little tweeking can easily be changed, the best way is to remove aim assist from golden gun.

6 RepliesI liked all three of the classes, and played a decent amount of each. But I specialized in the Titan because it best fit my play style. The only thing I was mildly annoyed about was the frequency of times I was killed by golden gun. I found entire teams of hunters just rotating GG and it was annoying because they only needed to land one hit for that install kill. Granted GG does take a certain degree of skill to land those shots, from some experimenting I found that GG also had a noticeably faster recharge rate over my Titans FoH, so I suffered on the receiving end of GG more often then I could dish back with my own super. Do I believe its OP, not necessarily, a little annoying certainly but that's about it. What really got me was when I found both warlocks and hunters took about the same damage to drop as my Titan. I mean, what am I wearing plate armor with the defensive qualities of cardboard? There shouldn't be any way those robes or capes were as bullet resistant as my full suit of plate armor. For balancing purposes? Maybe. Did it break any sense of originality and specialty for my tank like Titan? Most certainly.
