It would be nice to see some of these changes (especially with NPCs), but I think you've failed to realize this is an MMO world, even though it's not technically an MMO game, so the world has to stay the same for the most part.
I didn't get into exploring right away, but then I decided to actually start looking around, and I mean around every rock and corner, in/around structures and over cliffs. To the point I didn't let high level enemies stop me. I found a lot of loot and ghost, but I also had fun jumping/running around places nobody really dared to go; found hidden places I missed and even found a bugged wall right in the open but nobody could see from below. The only issue I had was invisible walls stopping me from getting to places.
Not to mention that public events and those random occasions when stronger enemies come pouring out of their spawns seemingly without end (not sure what to call it), exist to address some of your issues.
Maybe you've experienced these things in the 5-6 times you went and it's just not enough for you to see the same places again. Then the only thing I can say is, since it's just a beta hopefully it might get better by launch or months after.

To be perfectly honest I am not buying Destiny for another MMO, I'm not looking for another Defiance and neither are the majority people (satistically). If it turns out to be one I cannot support it. Exploration is still poor for the reasons in my initial post, the fact that you found a few random chests and some ghosts means little. I have also seen those high level enemies and the loot they guard and it isn't that spectacular. The events are nice but the are really bland to play (the spider walkers have started forums of their own) and dont make up for the poor base gameplay. The events in which the enemies spawn improves it but is that really the best we can expect? Is that really what a $500 million budget buys? Also while I did play the beta roughly five complete times that is not the reason why I am bored. All the reasons in my post explain exactly why I am bored with the game with repetition being a factor that of the features I speak about. And finally the fact that it is a beta. The game is two months from launch and what I am critiquing is a serious enough build to use as a large scale test. Sure some of these things will improve but most of these things probably wont. Especially when you consider that Bungie hasn't commented or acknowledged this post at all despite it trending for days on numerous tags. I want to believe it will be better however based on everything we have seen (including the moon mission which follows the same trends) I don't has serious reasons to believe that. I also dont buy full price poor quality games with promises it will improve with DLC and updates.

From other posts I saw bungie hasn't really responded to anything. I also don't want to discredit what you stated I agree with what some of you said, I was just bringing in some practicality and my own experiences. The fact that it has an MMO aspect is just that, a fact. Obviously, since your not happy so far, then your going to have to wait for the full product until you can make a decision if your willing to pay for it or not.

I cant deny that it is an MMO experience as you said yourself it is a fact. I just expected it to be a far better quality than what I have seen thus far and not become just another MMO. Ultimately my final judgement is still held for the full game of course but I am not holding my breath about it. I'm also sorry if it seemed like I was ripping into you about it, I just find it hard to let others not hold Bungie to the higher standards of their previous work.

Unfortunately, your expectations simply are not reasonable. Bungie has to build a game world that works for more than just YOUR gaming needs. If the environment changes TOO much...and on a permanent basis...then people who come later have nothign to do...and nothing to see. What you are basically asking for is not a MMO world...but a single-player sandbox. Something mroe along the lines of a Watch_Dogs or a Witcher 3. You might as well move on, because nothing Bungie can realistically do here will make you happy. This is NOT the game for you.

I completely disagree, everything I have asked for has been done before and can be done (with far smaller budgets too) but from your comment you have misinterpreted what I actually said/asked for. There is actually a similar comment by a user called Firbolgs who said something close to what you have. Here is the link for the conversation in case you are interested, but I will also repond to your points as well.http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/66866625/0/0/1 This is about more than my gaming needs and to prove it I will point you to the poll running on my post. 75% of people out of a massive 3000 participants agree with what I have said/suggested (not always completely but enough to visibly show their support). Statistically this number is actually quite significant and shows that it isn't just my needs. Your point about things changing permanently is completely misinformed as I never asked for anything to change permanently and specifically used the word cycles to demonstrate this. Obviously they would be scripted cycles and not player driven which is why I did not use the word player driven throughout my post. Also currently there is nothing to see after you have seen something in an area once, in your own words "people who come later have nothign to do...and nothing to see" but the same is true for everyone as it is right now including those who have came before. As for what I am asking, nothing I have asked for is truly sandbox like skyrim or the Witcher. Enhanced enemies, NPC's, respawn loops, looting and improved environments can and have been done before especially with upcoming MMO's and some past ones as well (with lower budgets). As for this game not being for me, if Destiny is setting out to be just another MMO it is not for me at all. It is not what I paid for (and considering the poll results it is the same for many others)and considering games like Star Citizen, Black Desert Online (even the elder scrolls online is changing it up to do some of these things)and Borderlands currently provide a better experience to what I have played thus far I will have little remorse in giving it up if this is the best it can offer. I do save my final judgement for the final version and if you wish to discuss this further I recommend double checking my initial statement as well as the link in this response to gain a better understanding/ justification for my rationale. As well as a more in depth response to why it is perfectly possible to do the things I have asked.

They have been done before...but NOT for this type of game...and they are not consistent with the type of game Bungie set out to build. I just find it amazing how many of you kids seem to think that it's Bungie's responsibility to cater to your personal wish list of game play traits. Like you're calling up Domino's and ordering a pizza. That you can just say what you want, and it shows up on yoru doorstep in 30 minutes or less. No. Putting together a game like this is more like makign a Hollywood movie. Certain creative decisions have to be made, because if you try to be all things to all people...you wind up with a mess that no one will like. Yes a few tweaks can be made in the last few weeks. But not major overhauls of the sort you are demanding. Especially when you are comparing this console game that charges no fees after purchasing the game.....to PC games that eitehr charge monthly subscriptions, or are riddleed with micro-tranactions. Bottomline....if the lack of these things are dealbreakers for you...then simply go find another game that provides them. This one will not.

Edited by 101WaysToBeBronze: 8/23/2014 12:32:57 AMFirst of all we aren't kids, we are consumers which is a significant difference because companies make money by fulfilling consumer wants and charging them for it. If this game isn't what I want I will get a refund and wont buy the next iteration (if their is one) which is damaging to the company which is the reason why they ask for feedback (no company will produce a game which people wont buy). I am putting forward this feedback and suggestions because this is the Destiny that I bought into, that I and many others were willing to pay for. Destiny does not have to be all things, it just simply has to be what it made itself out to be. An online, Co-op, RPG, FPS with the same quality of gameplay and mechanics that Bungie has delivered before. And finally most of the games I have just mentioned don't charge fees. Star Citizen? no subscription, just a one off purchase. Black Desert Online? Free to play (no game will ever be completely free so some cosmetic purchases are to be expected). Borderlands? launched cheaper with more interesting gameplay, mechanics and story with a far smaller budget. These poor elements and absent features are dealbreakers for me because they make the game boring. Even with friends. I wont buy a game just because a certain developer made it, I will buy it because it is fun and worthwhile. It is the benefit of being apart of a market based economy.
