Iron Banner in need of level brackets or gear requirments
If youre level 2 you probably shouldnt be playing in IB. I'd almost be willing to say if you arent level 8 you shouldnt play in IB. I think that level brackets or gear requirments would go a long way in making pvp more enjoyable for everyone.

I was thinking that too. But then i looked at it like "ranked" matches, where you shouldn't be going in (or shouldn't be able to go in?) until you reach level 20. And from there, it's all about best equipment, amount of light you have, and skill. Everyone else, including level 20s who don't want to do IB, still have all regular crucible playlists. Iron Banner seems like this intense playlist that has a lot going on in terms of prizes and competition.

That's the point of IB. If you don't have good gear then go to a mode with level advantages disabled.

Very rational statement. Lets hope they do set those standards. Completing bounties with noobs makes objectives feel impossible.

I think iron banner is for going in with a build you gave worked on, so at best they should have a level 10 and a level 20 separation, but otherwise just don't play iron banner cause it's for the more competitive people

+1. I find it very annoying when I'm the only one doing something and my so called "team" brings us to a loss. Lv 8's only in IB.

First game of IB today: taking B on First Light and a guy pops up, I turn to shoot and my teammate next to me us oblivious, doesn't turn or shoot Fourth game of IB: First Light, my team leaves all our vehicles at start. They have two interceptors the rest of the game Second game of IB: on Mars. Some idiot on my team kept capping A and screwing our spawns, we lose by 2k because of him 2nd to last game: my team is so bad at shooting they couldn't hit the side of a barn

5 RepliesI have countless games of me getting a 2.0+ K/D and my teammates getting single digit kills with a freaking 0.3 K/D. I don't mind though I usually get a laugh out of it and use them as a meat shield.

1 ReplyPrime example of why PvP should be separate from PvE. It's just a contest of who has the best gear (not to say skill doesn't matter, but its role is lessened by the carry-over system).
