Warlock class item 'arm band'
Honestly I feel like we got no love on that. Hunter cloaks are super noticeable and titans are also super distinct with their armor style but warlocks have the trench coat style thing, which is OK, but not immediately noticeable like the other classes and the class item 'arm band' is pretty lame. Give us something cooler!!

Look I agree, but if they don't change it at least give us some sparkley glowy thing that has an aura. You know all mystical since that's along the line of warlock powers.

1 ReplyListen, man, we warlocks need to level the playing field to make things fair for the others... We have the most kickass space magic since Star Wars; our dusters look so fly, a Californian purple-suited pimp would shed tears of envy; holo-bonds are the blingier than two gold chains hanging from a white dressed black man's neck; and best of all, the flavor text on our gear is so poetic, Shakespeare would empty his bowels unto his pants. I love my warlock, and you should too.

i agree that the arm band is not very noticeable nor do you feel like a bad ass with it on.. i was thinking maybe some sort of hood just a though. What ya think?

I agree, the armband is extremely lame compared to the other two classes. We need something that pops out and looks badass.

What about this Bungie? Just make the arm band take up more vertical space on the arm of the character that way it's more noticeable for the vain and gives you a bigger area for your character design team to play around with while they design a whole new set of accessories! Because who care's about the playability of the game at launch as long as my bling is order. But seriously though I voted yes, the arm band is a bit cack...

I support the change of warlock bands. it needs to be as noticeable as a cloak. or straight up give them something else. the way I see it and this is just my opinion but I think the cape is more suited toward a titan because the titan resembles a knight of sorts. knights and capes go hand in hand no? the sash better suits the hunter(but maybe mix the hood and sash as a combo) and instead of that lame armband give them epic shoulders! like spiky ones or something epic. warlocks always have epic spikey shoulders in every mmo.

Edited by AdunSaveMe: 7/27/2014 2:21:54 AMThere's a couple of holographic ones that are more noticeable, but the points of the matter are that those are costly endgame max-level items, and there isn't a large variety of them, and every other Warlock bond up until that point is small, boring and not easily noticed. Titans and Hunters get cloaks and banner pieces that are always big, always noticeable. They don't need to get to endgame to have a cool class item.

Some of the other high level gear features like holographic gauntlets and stuff. Also, even though the other two classes may not recognize your awesome band you better believe fellow warlocks will notice your kick-ass band. It's kind of like a warlock bonding kind of thing in my mind. That being said, I would mind something a little more "visible" hah. Lastly from what I gathered the warlocks doesn't do good deeds in order to recognized, they do it because it's what your supposed to. As a result they don't have a "flashy" class item that's easily visible. It kind of goes back to my second point.

I seen a glow effect from a lvl 4 armband, it was the outside ring parts. My legendary(purple) from Iron banner doesn't seem to have anything glowing. Honestly, they should be on both arms in the least. Every armband should have a glow of some sorts, like emblem designs on them should glow.

Change it. I love the Warlock but if I were to change what should I be? I dont like the Hunters Golden Gun ability, but love there cloaks, and the titans super is good to. Idk what to choose..

One different class Guardian to another, the armband sucks.

I don't know what to think of it. I suppose it could get better once we get more exotic warlock bands, but the early ones are barely noticeable. I think belt buckles would be a better idea and far more noticeable.

1 ReplyDude all the exotic warlock stuff is holographic gear like one is like gauntlets of the sun bearer and it's like an orange holographic gauntlet and the holo armbands are badass

It actually doesn't look half bad when you get cooler looking ones (ie a halographic eagle)

They need to change it, it is practically pointless an almost unnoticeable. They should make it the trench coat, or just anything else.
