Moon gravity indifferent? Stars twinkling? Bullshit

It really bugs me that the moon has earth-like gravity. It also bugs me that the stars in the sky twinkle. The only reason stars appear to twinkle is because we have an atmosphere. The moon does not have an atmosphere, therefore stars should not twinkle. Neither should there be any wind that blows dust. Why did bungie hire level designers who have no concept of how space works? And before you say "the traveler changed the moon and gave it an atmosphere", no it did not. Otherwise the sky would be cloudy and we wouldn't be able to see the stars whenever the sun came around.

Lol the moon does have an atmosphere buddy. Also get this you didn't hear this from me but.... It also has water!!!! What it doesn't have anymore is a magnetic field. It has gravity, metals, and gases some earth like and some not. Plus I'm sure during the golden age of man before the traveler humanity found some way to manipulate the planets. If we are able to start terraforming mars I believe during our golden age we could have done it ourselves

  • I have an idea. How about instead of finding things to complain about you find things to admire.

    • In the moon map tour, he said the traveler gave the moon more gravity and a light atmosphere, so yeah I am going to say that.

The Traveller brought life to all planets. It can explain the atmosphere, but not the gravity. Even the atmosphere needs gravity to stay. Still, if you can just believe in the space magic of the Traveller, anything is plausible. After all, nothing in the real world's universe is set in stone. It is speculated by some of the top minds that gravity and other forces don't apply the same in other galaxies.

        • The Hive have a huge ego, as for the wind and atmosphere, it's from them blowing out hot air.

        • Yeah, alrighty So possibly around 800 years into the future, when Venus and Mercury are garden worlds, you have trouble believing the the moon has some gravity? It's called science fiction

I like how you're ignoring that a significant portion of the moon is missing, as well as the giant hole in the middle and the fact that the whole blamed thing's hollowed out by aliens. As far as I'm concerned, anything's possible in science fiction games.

        • The gravity bugs me too but remember, they said the traveler terraformed the planets and the moon (that is why it rained on the moon in the opening video) therefore there is an atmosphere on the moon which would refract light and make the stars "twinkle". Did you notice the rotation of earth as seen from the moon? It's like 5 min/day time on earth at that speed. Also the shadow of the earth. There should still be a month to have a "full earth" (like a full moon) but it seems that the moon orbits the earth every hour.

          • I wouldnt fret too much about it. Cuz yu know what? The Speaker said that Mercury was a garden world. THE PLANET CLOSEST TO THE SUN IS A WORLD WITH LUSH VEGETATION. So unless "garden" =/= plants, the moon is the least of our worries.

            • It does have an atmosphere. This is like 5014, how else do fallen or hive or anything else live? It's obvious the Traveller gave it one as a Birday Present.
