ive bin a pc player for a long time and have played wow and other sorts of MMo's, and am a big fan of raids. I noticed that after playing many Devil Lair raids, i feel as tho i am not getting a good enough reward or a reward at all for killing the Spider tank or the Prime boss. As a tank and a future destiny elitist i would love to be rewarded for killing such big bosses and boss encounters, thats what kept me going back for more in world of Warcraft raids. The boss the loot the experience and the time with my friends made it more enjoyable, this is just my opinion but other then that Destiny is a amazing game

1 ReplySimple solution: every time you or your fireteam defeats a boss or sub-boss, it drops an encrypted engram relative to the level of the mission. This way, it could be anything from a weapon to a piece of armor but at least it would be a consistent proper reward for defeating one.

I think bosses should always drop loot, of any sort. Be it glimmer or items. No loot at all is annoying.
-
I agree completely. I always loved in WoW when you kill the final big bad and you see purple and orange drops fall down. ~Sigh~ "Memories."
-
No, you get loot after. Thats giving too many things considering its easy to get gear

At least for the hardmode strike, you do get two uncommon or better for completing it. 2 bosses 2 uncommon or better. Seems what you want is there, just in a different form.

5 RepliesI honestly think the loot you get from pve is shit compared to the legendary crucible items you can get and they were giving away random legendary hand cannons to people who played the iron banner at random "luckily I got one" but that's bull shit i was just trying out iron banner I shouldn't be punished for liking pve more and a lot of people can agree that the pve is better

Agree, drop loot, please.

I think loot is just random ans they are trying to not be a "mmo" they are trying to be a mmoish game. But I agree it would make sense if bosses dropped loot or occasionally better loot than say a dreg. It's kinda wierd that a low level enemy can drop does green hexagon things

I agree. Bosses should drop loot. It doesn't need to happen 100% of the time but there should be a possibility of getting something that is unique.
-
1 ReplyBosses are generally at the end of strikes/missions, and you get rewards for completing missions. So ... you want double the loot?
-
1 ReplyI don't think so because in the strike mission with the flying boss if he happens to be over a cliff when he dies there goes all your loot off the cliff.

Yeah I think exp. isn't really an award. They (especially the spider tanks - in or out of the Lair-) shoudl drop some engrams or some ammo or something. They take a serious time commitment to take out, so getting a reward as petty as 200 exp and a seed that increases the number of enemies you face feels like a let down. Almost like if a contestant on a TV show (American Idol, AGT, etc.) Got a fiver for winning.

I agree good sir. I would also like to see instead of normal and hard options. A level matching option so I can go play devils later at level 20 and still get a challenge.

9 RepliesYou get 200xp from killing a spider tank. There is your reward enjoy it. Anyways, you do get rewards from Sepiks. Its either an ether seed or house banner(200glimmer).
