Reason 2 is crap honestly. There are tons of people that don't keep up with Destiny info like we do. There are a lot of people that are just like, "Oh Destiny, that's sci-fi right? That sounds awesome! I think I'll get it." A lot of the casual gamers aren't gonna even know about the beta, so it's not like they specifically chose not to pre order.
And I've found a handful of people on these forums (like myself) that are on vacation during the beta. So your thought that people that aren't playing the beta because they didn't preorder is flawed.

Edited by FoxDie: 7/24/2014 3:53:18 PMBut those reasons also apply to the main release as well. It is less likely but still entirely plausible that someone hasn't heard of (or at least not enough of) Destiny to get it on release. Also people may well be on vacation for the games release.

2 isn't flawed seeing as people are saying its not fair for people that didn't play beta when they can lvl up on release and be at a decent lvl in 6 hours tops. Didn't read that last sentence did ya?

If it doesn't take that long to level up why do you care if the progress gets reset? Sounds like it should be quite easy to get back where you were.
