I feel the same way to a certain extent. When I play as a Warlock I don't feel like a space sorcerer at all. I feel like a titan with no armour. You have grenades.. just like the other classes. I'd imagine those would've been substituted for a ranged aoe magic power. Maybe something along the lines of an aoe suspended animation. Anything other than a grenade. I assumed the character would be more focused towards the powers, instead it's 94.73% gun play like the the rest of them. Still looking forward to the full game though. Perhaps the full game has more intricate workings and variations between characters in the later game.
