PvP in Dark Souls 2
As much as I like the PvP in Dark Souls 2, it is just filled with people who chug Estus, gank, or just aren't good.
Granted, there are hundreds upon hundreds that are good, and I have had good matches.
Thankfully, I am on the ganking side, being on the Rat King Covenant. However, I try to let the other player kill local mobs so we can have a fair fight. However, it doesn't always turn out that way.
Several people have run straight at me, and were then circle jerked by my Mammoth and rats, and me of course.
A few run into a safe haven, and I tear apart their health, only to see them chug Estus.
Many have casted spells on me, only to run away when I get near and they don't use melee.
So what is the deal? Why do so many people suck at PvP, and resort to cheap tactics?
Of course, I love using my Rat traps, but that is to be expected when people go into the Doors of Pharros or the Grave of Saints.

Anyways, if anyone like PvP, please share some of your most entertaining stories/ pet peeves. I'd love to hear them!

I like going to the Dragon Shrine and closing a door on people then using that AOE Lightning Miracle on them.Once I killed a guy like that. Also just hiding around corners and using it. I also use it when people get knocked down by the mage if they haven't killed them.

Also this one time I just Forced some guy off the roof beams in that temple in Anor Londo...didn't want to deal with any invaders.

The first time I got invaded was in Firelink Alter. Was busy with some balder knights I just had enough time to deal with the invader. We were fighting in an inclosed hallway so not much could be done. I ran to the drake bridge, for obvious reasons, and when the drake failed I went downstairs to the area below the bridge. I had to kill the undead there quickly which I barely managed to do. We fought there for a bit, me having the upper hand. As he was low health he ran back up the stairs onto the bridge. I followed the guy only to be killed by the drake' fire. He died as well but believe I died first...even though he had lower health.

People will literally parry spam and nothing else until they finally get someone, at which point they will takeout a weapon to one shot the person. It's not about fun or a challenge to them, it's completely about winning.
