What does the purple ball represent?
Does it represent friendship in war? Does it represent love and a yearning desire for a purple ball?
Or does it entice players to forget that September 9th is so far away, and urges them to divulge in purple ball practices?
(This post not applicable with soccer ball.)

6 RepliesSolitary, dormant, The purple ball rests. Then, a Guardian bounces it, calling the purple ball to life. There is movement, energy, excitement. Other Guardians join in, creating communal interaction. As the purple ball bounces from one player to another, it carries with it a thread which is weaved into a tale. Each person touched by this thread has their own unique aspect of the tale to tell. After all is said and done, the purple ball returns to it's resting place and our Guardians are wiped from memory, the tale of the purple ball lives on, retold by those who were there. The purple ball, in the most simple and genuine of ways has become legend. It is for this reason that the purple ball, above all else, represents each of our inherent yearning to cut our own path, weave our own tale, to extend that thread to others... and like the purple ball... ...become legend
