Why do female exo have breasts?
Well, I noticed that in the beta and I wonder why do they have breasts if they're not organic creatures. Their breasts won't allow them to feed any babies.
Cortana -from the Halo franchise- had breasts because she was shaped like a woman. But the Grimoire card made me suspect exos were made to protect people. They were warriors and assisstants. Not mums.

Well when one Exo, a boy Exo falls in love with a girl Exo they sometimes have a special hug. And sometimes after that hug a baby Exo is born. And that baby Exo needs hydronic fluid right away! So the girl Exo makes some in her giggly parts. /thread

Relatability. When a human creates something, specifically a "living" being, they're going to make it similar to the living thing they're most familiar with; themselves. That's why we're currently designing robots to be more human-like. That's why aliens are often portrayed as being human-like in mainstream media. That's why we use personification in literature. It's easier to interact and understand something when you can relate to it.

Maybe they were designed to be nanny-bots and actually do have functional breasts for feeding! Or perhaps the designers just forgot that automatons have no gender!

Well, female exos have breasts because they are female. Exos are like humans, a really advanced AI, I believe they can live life's and have families too.

It is often thought the easiest way to relate design of an object is to relate it to the users form, as such it is given a place and becomes familiar. Imagine how different our environments would look if humans had a third hand or something,.

Only after a lot of time they developed what us would call a "soul" and this event is so complicated that neither humans or the Exo (I think they were aknoweledged as race and gained the Exo name only after gaining the "soul") themself know how it happened.

We as humans want to make everything like ourselves. Pretty narcissistic but that's how it is. That's why we always want our robots to stand walk and talk. That's also why they would have breasts. Because without them it wouldn't seem like a true female.
