I agree. For those who say "it's still in beta" name me 5 games you've seen in beta from that have totally revamped the development side of things. I'm not talking slight tweaks or glitter added, I'm saying mechanically.
Unfortunately, I think our gripes are here to stay. This is how they've chosen to use their focus time and get the lore and game running. If anything, I could see these additions being slightly added into the DLC, or Destiny 2.

It's a shame a "massive" game like this and we're already talking add-ons and sequels.
