How are some people still desperate to keep playing a level 8 with nothing moving forward, this break has come at the perfect time.

Perfect time for you maybe but not all of us can play 24/7. not had time to play the beta yet and to come on and it's down for two days is a disgrace

There is so much more even to this beta then just simply hitting the lv cap - its something gamers just get, but its not for everyone I guess...

You can still unlock weapons and armor even if you have reached level 8

You can still progress your talent tree and weapons. I'm getting close to the 3rd tier!:)

You'd be surprised how many different stats can spawn on weapons a level 8 can equip. Just before the beta paused I found a fully auto shotgun. I'm excited to get back in and use it.

Cause that's not gonna suck for your enemies in the Crucible. Good find for you, but I feel bad for anyone you get in your sights. I could see blowing through special ammo at a crazy rate as a downside though.

It doesn't have a fantastic rate of fire. It's ROF isn't much quicker than the semi auto version, but it's one trigger pull which will be nice for PvP. I'm definitely interested in using it. But, more importantly, I'm interested in finding that perk on other items like a scout rifle.

._. A scout rifle built like that would be amazing lol. So long as the recoil isn't terrible. Kinda hope to see you in the Crucible testing that thing out, I don't even care if I'm on the receiving end lol.

I got a blue Pulse rifle with full auto ability. lvl 10 though :( wish i could use it the stats look sick.

es you progess, the drops change''s also, LvL 8 Hunter still found new drops and uncommons. BTW mp you have advantage then, Proud owner of uncommon long cape Time event!

Um.. Technically you still level abilities and everything and gear.

ye my titans skill stopped leveling at 75% for titan codex IV

Your abilities max out about half way through the tree.

I'm not too proud to grind for weapons.

you don't level but you still progress in your abilities. so still moving forward. a bit slower

You can collect dead ghosts, vanguard point, crucible points, try to find glitches or hidden areas like the bunker. There is lots to do man. So I can see people still wanting more
