DEEJ WHY IS IT THAT EVERY TIME I PLAY THE IRON BANNER EVENT AND GET FIRST PLACE THE LAST PLACE PLAYER GETS A LEGENDARY WEAPON!!! I had 22 kills this guy had 4 and got a legendary weapon. I capped the hell outta it, I had over 6000 for my score! Come on bungie!

I think its completely random for now at least so that hopefully anyone weather or not there good or bad will walk away with something for now at least..

This was very frustrating for me too. I feel like they should reward the most skilled player and not just randomize it. Makes me feel no motivation to be the best player.

I think its all random because I was playing earlier and i got to 3rd place and got a damn legendary ship and the first one got a Assault Rifle with 36 Damage

I've been paying pretty close attention to rewards being handed out on the Iron Banner crucible matches and have seen EVERY place on the winning team get items at 1 time or another - there does NOT seem to be any pattern that I can see. Last I knew this was only the beta & everything would be wiped before release anyways...

Yea, I just get annoyed at the fact they stated that loosing a match could cost you legendary gear, and that you needed to bring your "a" game. When really it's random.

There are bounties (read challenges) to complete to get the legendary gear.

No that's not how you get legendary weapons as rewards for the iron banner crucible play. Trust me I've done almost all the bounties that you are able to do and that's how I got my cape by purchasing it from the merchant. What in talking about is when you finish a match and get items as a reward.

Do you honestly think Bungie wants to facilitate you getting 30+ kills instead of the 22 and the weaker player getting 0 kills instead of the original 4... Sucks but, seems logical.

Weird because the game I got my legendary pistol I had 33 kills my kdr was like a 1.9 and we won I was 1st place. Im n pretty sure it's completely random and that winning just increases your chance not your place.
