Can someone please tell this guy that this is a beta it's a starting area wtf do you want lol. In no game is the starting area littered with crazy amounts of enemies or stuff to interact with. It's a taste of things to come. And I'm hungry for more just like you but you can't expect the opening areas to be all out. For a starting area this is perfect not to easy not too tough and it teaches you the game. Just enjoy the taste and when sept comes I'm sure you'll get what your looking for. Again it's the beta don't over analyze.

Edited by 101WaysToBeBronze: 7/21/2014 3:10:05 AMLet me make my position clear. If the beta is for feedback then myself and the community have given them extremely clear, constructive feedback with some solid data as well. I would also like to point out that everything I wrote on this piece is valid when it comes to the beta. The AI, NPCs and loot are vital to the game and yet in the eyes of myself and almost 1000 others it has been extremely poorly done. Even for a beta. The fact is that this game is two months from release and what we are seeing are some serious issues with some of the core foundations of the game. I want to hope it is just the beta, but in saying that I was hoping it was just the alpha too (should I hope its just the first game also?).

Well I just saw a bird while in explore but what animals do you know of that would stick around with supers and gunfire goin off all around. I mean If we are talking about realistic.

In regards to animals they need to fit the context and environment (which is exactly why I didn't bring them up in my post). My main points were with the respawn cycles(which linked with the environment), NPCs, mission design, the horrendous AI (as Destiny is not a game for children, smarter or interesting AI wont break the game) and also the way you are rewarded for exploration which ties in with loot and scavenging.

Ye ignore my post lol someone pointed out it was the feedback tag and I said duly noted. But let's say the darkness is trying to stamp out life wouldn't that include animals? And I know you said more than just wildlife you want more environmental interaction.

Edited by Untrentide: 7/21/2014 1:43:29 AMThis is Beta but this is what the current access is for. Player input. If they (the developers) know this situation will be remedied later on, then they will ignore this thread. IF on the other hand this trend was an issue in the game, this conversation could help enlighten the developers to know that we are looking for a little more environment. This is not a flame piece, its a valid point of view.

Ughh, the hundreds of people spewing the same shite over and over about its just a Beta, nothing drastic will change from now to 2 months you know, nothing.
-
Then go play another game I'm sure your negativity could be used elsewhere.
-
Did I say that ME personally wasn't happy? Nope But not much will change from this to the full release, simple.

Its still pretty shitty and boring for a starting area though, and dont' the use the excuse "Oh its just beta." Because its not, the game comes out very soon and the only reason they created a beta was for marketing purposes. I think this is going to be Bungies greatest failure, but I'm happy to have them prove me wrong.

Edited by SquaLLr: 7/20/2014 7:51:41 PMThat's the point of this forum. To leave feedback, whether good or bad.
