It's super annoying to waste a Hunter's throwing knife because you're spamming melee in a control point fight.
My suggestion would be for the throwing knife to require holding melee down for let's say .3-.5s, and then release to throw, the option to hit reload to cancel would be awesome too.

I think it should only throw if you're facing an enemy out of melee range. I waste mine all the time, just like the warlock and titans only activate if you hit an enemy.
