Hi guys,
So is there any benefits to actually being in a clan?
I initially assumed it meant that people will get paired more often in the open instances, but don't think that's really there.
Have not tried the crucible, so assume it's for there?

2 RepliesAs of yet, no major benefit apart from having it under your name like any other MMO. But you need 3 people in a clan for it to be active to show your clan name. Of course, with a clan it'll make things somewhat more stream lined to get ready for the vault of glass if you don't have 5 friends playing currently since you need 6

Being in my clan has helped tremendously! We have the same mind set on weeklies and raid. We run them together with organized communication and speed. None of this wondering weather you are going to be able to run a raid or even finish it. Always have help with various things. The people are great to chat with during the time killing:)

1 ReplyThose two achievements, people to do stuff with, friends/fun, etc. Wow maybe I should join a clan.

It gives you a cool tag under your GT, and gives you the chance to get some extra Trophies/Achievements.

1 ReplyI woudlnt say there is any real benefit other than an easier way to play with others.

1 ReplyEdited by Trash, Smell of Dumpsters: 9/23/2014 12:33:01 AMI just started a clan just to get more involved with the game considering there isn't much chat while in the tower or game play, other than mimicry. Yeah, so far I see no major bennies other than have a subtitle under your gamer tag. Oh, and there is trying to promote your clan, I'd say other than my bud and my daughter for when she isn't with me you have to convince people to come over and join the club and a majority of players I play with or against in the crucible don't respond because I don't think people check this account often and my invites expire, they might consider a push to XBOX inbox's. Pretty good idea about it helping steamline your fireteam for raids though, I'll have to try that.

If you want to run the Vault of Glass I recommend it. If the raid is as hard as Bungie is claiming, you are going to want to have 5 other people with their shit together.

I don't think we know anything other than that they exist, and maybe we won't know any more than that during the beta itself. Hoping there are clan events or challenges in the full release, and that you can level it up as well and maybe earn perks like WoW/FF14.

Not 100% sure with Destiny TBH. There are normally rewards associated with clans which can be unlocked based on your clans performance in-game but so far no details have been released. At the minute it's just a community of like-minded players and a place to meet up with people from your time zone and arrange fireteams/PVP matches.
