Possible problem for Companion App on HTC One models

There is an issue on HTC One models (verified on HTC One X and HTC One SV) where sign-in isn't possible for the Mobile App. Attached picture shows the problem through screens. Instead of the sign-in, the akward 404 screen pops. It has been tested on 2 in depended devices in two countries. Both devices are 100% updated to latest firmware. Other Android devices does not have the same problem (I successfully signed-in on my Android tablet, for instance). Thank you in advance for looking into this issue.

Thank you for reporting this, I will pass this on to Top Men. If you would, there has been a couple software updates for the mobile app since this post was created. Please make sure you're on the latest software update and try again. Report back!

    • Hey just thought I'd stop in and say that my companion app had been running completely fine with no issues. I'm on HTC One M8. If that helps.

    • Hi sagitarius, I had also reported similar problems on this forum (see included url) and some others had also already answered and indeed "HTC One" as a device seems to be the common denominator. A Bungie employee (SaintD) has requested some more information on my thread and I have taken the liberty to also add a link to this page. Let's hope Bungie can find the root cause of this so we can start following our guardians more closely in the near future right? :)
