Beta error code CE-34632-8 with psn pre order
Hey all.
I've pre ordered Destiny over psn on ps4.
I've downloaded the beta by going onto the psn store and set auto download to account for the beta too. A file of a few hundred mbs was then downloaded, and it continued to download in the background (on the dash icon, press options, and select information, it'll display how much of the 15gb download has downloaded).
The download completed (there was also a 34mb update file issued this morning).
When I select the beta on the dash it says "cannot start the application. (CE-34632-8)".
I'm just wondering if anyone who has already downloaded the beta is getting this message or if they're getting to the start screen? (and presumably being refused connection to the server)
On a side note I've read that we in europe will be able to pre order the digital guardian edition as of today (17/7/2014) for £85.
Im assuming were going to be able to switch our pre order / cancel it to accommodate for this.
It's worth noting sony tends to say psn pre orders cannot be cancelled, but if you go to settings> account info> wallet> transaction history, and select your destiny pre order, it gives you the option to cancel your order.

I solved this by going to settings, and restoring licences, and activating as primary console again for good measure (when the beta started)

I'm not sure if [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/66411459/0/0]this[/url] is the solution to this specific problem (as it addresses the DL not starting to begin with) but since it might help I'll post it anyway. Caution: this might delete the Beta from your Harddrive. Use only as a last resort. Hopefully you can just delete the corrupted data from the website without having to DL the Beta again. I'm not 100% sure about that though, so as I said use this as your last and final option.

One guy suggested to delete the error message in the Notifications/Downloads and the try downloading again. Worked for me

EU here, same problem. Would be nice to have some feedback on this from a bungee source seeing how much people this is affecting.

Hey, I get the same error. Hopefully it's only because Beta has not launched yet, I don't really want to re-download the whole 15 GB file with my sluggish internet...

3 RepliesI'm getting the same message. There's no specific information anywhere about what the expected behaviour is. 10am PT comes and: 1) it magically works 2) I download it again because it's broken 3) an update files happens and it magically works 4) pain / suffering / profanity happen
