Why do people always mock Otherkin?
It doesn't make sense for me to hide it anymore, so I might as well say it: I'm a therian. I've been this way since I was 7 and discovered that I didn't think of myself as a boy or a girl. I always "played pretend" when I was a kid, but a part of me always knew that I wasn't pretending. It was who I was.
That's why it hurts so much when people think that therians and all types of Otherkin are just "making it up" for attention or whatever. That's not true! It's a legitimate gender. I know you'll probably just laugh at this, but I needed to get it out. Please support!

1 ReplyOtherkin isn't a gender imo. I mean, fine, whatever, you identify as something other than what you actually are, but even if you actually where whatever you identified as, you would still be either male or female. Unless you identify as a jellyfish. :/
