Uhhh what does betrayal have to do with end game? It only applies to PVP.

Every thread in this forum that asks a question about if something should be harder or more risky every b.net butt hugger picks the easy way out. Death penalty - no Friendly fire pve - no Incredibly difficult missions - no Level grind - no Friendly fire pvp - people are against The end game comment was an exaggeration but seriously people seem to just want things handed to them. One kid, "the supers aoe in pvp could kill a teammate" Me: umm, yea, why the -blam!- are you recklessly nuking your own teammates?

I think there should be some sort of death penalty for harder difficulties in PvE or maybe Raids. Friendly fire PvE doesn't make sense. There multiple times where my teammate was surrounded by enemies and I used a super to save his ass. Incredibly difficult missions? Well of course they're gonna be difficult missions it's a Bungie game. Not everyone wants to grind for Hundreds of hours to reach the cap. The light system they have seems fun and will encourage players to find better gear. Besides, Alpha leveling was accelerated we don't how fast we'll level in the final game. I think there should be Friendly fire in PVP, it encourages tactical play, but maybe it shouldn't be in all the playlists/game modes. Maybe a hardcore playlist like in BF? You seem like the type of guy who wants a very punishing and gruesome experience. (Dark Souls fan?) But you have to understand Bungie isn't making a game like that. They want to make a game that everyone of all skill levels can pick up and play for the next 10 years. I agree with some of your points though, but I believe they should be optional so that more people will want to approach and play Destiny. Who knows? Maybe there will be a Hardcore mode for PvE where if you die you lose that character forever, but I doubt it.
