There are certain situations where a lack of friendly fire can be exploited, but without weapon drops on the map we won't have to deal with getting betrayed for the sniper. At the same time, it could create more accidental-betrayal boots, which are never fun.

Yeah getting booted was the worst. If they decide to do this kind of stuff it should be 3 betrayals and then automatic boot. No forgiveness or choice by players. It's enough chances to correct your mistakes but also keeps you conscience of what you're doing.
