Halo 5 Forge Wishlist - Your Top 5

Alright Forgers, what five things do you want to see in Halo 5's next gen Forge mode? My list: 1. Terrain shaper (hills, caves, cliffs, rivers, waterfalls) with the ability to make the ground snow, desert, etc. 2. Atmosphere editing, including weather like rain, snow and fog, and also the time of day 3. Texture skins for the pieces. You'd select a piece and change its skin to Forerunner, UNSC, Covenant, etc. 4. Expanded palette. More trees, rocks, platforms, buildings, AND COVENANT PIECES!!! 5. Improved editing controls. Magnet overhaul, grouping objects and moving those groups, precision tuning, smart merging to limit z-fighting, etc.

  • 1. Terrain shapers would not be a good idea for gameplay issues. So instead there should be like 5 open worlds with a preset terrain, like forge world, each with a unique theme and objects. This would take away the need of the developers making additional maps since they can use these 5 worlds to make any sort of map. 2. There should be custom barriers that can be shaped freely, beyond it's limits would be only images, not objects that will react to a player or bullet thus not being a burden to online connections. 3. Having more money or objects will only burden online gaming. The developers give us that amount for a reason, same goes for bots. Something that would spice things up is a good stationary turret/vehicle, unlike the useless shades, even if it has bad accuracy, it should make up with rate of fire, damage and projectile speed (again referring to the shade). A weapon that can take care of medium sized vehicles, like hogs and banshees in a certain range. Today's weaponry can rival that of covenant weaponry for murder's sake... 4. "Coloring" terrain would be cool too, like adding touches of grass or sand etc. 5. Last but not least, we need a sort of tutorial or checklist that will help us create a gametype, like: ___To make a Neutral Flag gametype you may need: _Initial spawn points (description, what use is it, how do i use it etc.) _Flag stand (description, what use is it, how do i use it etc.)
