Unfortunately pedophillia is a sexual orientation, but I do believe it's also the only one that can be a result of trauma (but that's not always the case). I'm not going to shame pedophiles unless they actually do something to a child or in a sexual relation to children. If they try getting help and seeing if they can move past their psychological barrier, I'd much rather support them in that than shame them for existing in a way that they cannot change.
