Vanguard Armory Details Revealed
Those that preorder and get on Day One get access to the Vanguard Armory.

It's also good to note that it says you can get everything on that page through normal gameplay- so the day one exclusives are just a speed boost. A shame all the exclusives don't work like that!

1 ReplyReminds me of the guns you get in Borderlands 2 if you got the game at or near launch (premier edition or something, you had golden guns when you started each play through but they sucked overall). I'm not a big fan of the design though.

3 RepliesI've seen that Amazon, Game Stop and Microsoft offer the Vanguard Armory as part of their pre-order "bonus" And GameStop offers the Red Sparrow on top of that offer. Is anyone else offering any other Pre-order incentives? I'm currently set up for a 360-limited through Amazon, but may switch over to Game Stop because of the Sparrow. I just wasn't sure if there were any other PO bonus's out there that I should look into.

I believe it's color is exclusive through December or February, but the speed boost is available in game. Unfortunately it's the only other very shortly timed exclusive. Just FYI to those who don't know.

The Vanguard weapon skins are cool. So if the weapon's levels scale with character level & inventory refresh times then these sweet lookin guns will be viable options for all your future combat endeavours & look good too

Everyone needs to remember that both the alpha and beta had/have an accelerated XP gain so this gear may have longer play value in full release.

The stuff is not upgradeable, and has the power of level 5 gear. (I saw that stuff in the alpha) Since it normally requires you to have 1 level of Vanguard Reputation, I wonder if that means if that means pre-orders get 1 level of Vanguard Reputation free. We'll have to wait and see at this point.

The Vanguard Armory was obtainable even in the Alpha, they are low level weapons that have the decal of the Vanguard on them. You could have purchased them to the Vanguard Quartermaster in the Hangar by reaching the "Reputation" level of 1.

Nice to see that they can still be obtained in-game without a pre-order. Not that I wouldn't pre-order anyways.
