For comparison, the N7 Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3 was £70 new, or £20 more than the standard edition's RRP (though it was sold at £45). The Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach, which contained far more in the way of collectibles, was £100. So how in the name of all things gaming, is the Limited Edition of Destiny £95, just a fiver shy of the Halo 3 and Reach Legendary Editions?
The Ghost Edition should be £100, not the Limited Edition. How on Earth is this price justified?
Before any of you say it's down to shipping, it's really not. Games bought in Europe are manufactured in Europe, regardless of where the developer originates. That's how costs are kept down and margins are kept large. But then in addition to this, we then see a whopping great price point for the different editions.
Furthermore, you may argue that the Limited Edition comes with the expansion pass, but may I remind you that Halo 4 did the exact same thing at a fraction of the cost.
Why? Someone please try to justify this to me.
